A girl whose a freshman told me to move from one of the booths because that's their seat, was it a good idea that I moved?

I've been at this school for, I guess, 2 years now, and I'm a sophomore. So when I sat at the regular booth I sit at during lunch, I was drawing and some blonde girl followed by her friend (I'm not hating, I'm just describing; please don't be offended!). She came up to me and said, "Hey, my friend wants to sit here, and we always sit here, and you're in our spot, so you need to move." Honestly, she seemed bratty to me considering her attitude, but I was tired and had no time to argue, so I just left, and I've also sat in the spot since day one of this year, and these girls just got to this school this summer since they're freshmen. Was that the right thing to do? I'm not sure, and I'm asking here because I feel very annoyed by it suddenly.

Ah yes, Mean Girls 2 coming to theaters in 2025... just kidding. What you have is a very entitled girl... to be a freshman. I'd say you did the right thing not escalating the situation by skedaddling to another spot. But if the booth is not assigned to anyone, then they can kindly kick rocks to another spot. Honestly, in your shoes, I'd stare at them blankly and say "Ah" then continue to draw. If they asked politely in a different way, I wouldn't see a big issue. But in this case, you shouldn't give them the impression that they can just walk over you. They weren't there when you sat down. They snooze, they lose.

If nobody is assigned 2 that booth or it's not a class where u sit n it becomes your seat u say nicely "we can sit wherever." We're not assigned any place".
