She chose to sit next to me even though there were clearly other seats open. What does this mean?

Me and a couple friends were hanging out at this girls house, and we were watching tv. One of my friends (girl) was next to me, and this girl squoze next to me even though there were a lot of other places to sit. She said she moved to the seat because she was lonely where she was sitting before. Now this is the first time I met her, but does it mean anything? She was taking pictures and everything, and had her hand resting on my arm, but I didn't really think anything of it since I had met her maybe an hour earlier.

She is probably attracted to you and wants to know you better. Te fact that she's usig physicalsl contact is a big hint. If you usually meet a new person they Wouodnt do that, they'd be maybe a little uncomfortable and givin your space, as in if you touch knees they'd move it away. Thanks! I felt bad kind of starting anything since one of my friends who I know is crushing on me was on the other side of her, but I already have her snapchat so I was going to try and start something there. I just thought it was a little odd since I barely knew her, and she is a year older than me. She posted a pic of me, her, and our friend on the other side too. Thats when I started to notice my friends giving me signs and stuff, but again I didn't think anything of it because they were kinda tipsy (not the girl I think was interested).

If you're not interested in the girl who is crushing on you, and you like the girl who was flirting, then go for it. Don't let somebody else persuade you to not do something you want to do. And since you're not interested in her anyway, it's not like it would happen. If the gurl who's crushing on you says anythig, politely tell her what's going on, and about the other girl. Don't let her guilt you into not doing it

Yeah thats what I thought too. I just felt bad because the 2 girls are friends and I didn't want to make the girl angry. I just wanted to start it in private just in case I was imagining it or if it was realy just to stay on both of their good sides.
