My mother said to me, " she's not jealous of me because I have nothing going on for myself. She said, I smell bad, which I DON'T, she said I come to her house embarrassing her wearing SHORTS in the summer, she wished DEATH in my kids. Etc anything NEGATIVE! She even accused me of sleeping with her man before... come to find out, she finally told me that he said, "if he has met me first, he would've slept with me". She's still talking to him.

Wow girl, it really sounds like she is jealous of you! From what you described, it seems pretty clear she sees you as some kind of threat or competition. A few reasons I can think of:

- She's making up nasty rumors about you like saying you smell bad or dress inappropriately, which is total BS. Girls only do that when they're insecure about themselves and trying to make someone else look bad.

- Wishing harm on your kids is way over the line too. That's like the definition of jealousy and resentment toward you as a person.

- Then accusing you of sleeping with her man? Major projection. She must be worried he's got eyes for you instead if that's the first thing she thought of.

- And omg, the fact that he admitted he would have been with you first if he met you? She must have died inside hearing him say that. No wonder she's mad!

I say don't even give her negative comments the time of day. You keep being you, wearing what you want, and living your best life. She's just threatened because deep down she knows you've got it going on more than her! Don't stoop to her level - rise above. Prove with your confidence and grace that you don't need to tear other girls down. Her jealousy is her problem, not yours. Keep shining sis!
