Girls, What does it mean if my friend (who is a woman) REALLY wants me to walk with her to a certain place; so we can both watch a sunrise together?

The only option that comes to my mind is that if you want to be there by sunrise, you have to leave when it still dark.

Walking alone in the dark as a woman bears a certain number of dangers and I assume that she trusts you enough to accompany her and not to take advantage of the darkness.

I don't really see any other valid reason why a woman would ask a man to accompany her in the dark. Being scared is something that most women have to fear when walking alone in the dark or in a number of neighborhoods.

Well, it wasn't dark. It was the morning. It was pretty light outside before we left, there were also other people out that were jogging and walking their dogs as well, so she wouldn't have been alone, if she didn't take me along with her. Her neighborhood is also pretty safe. So I don't think she was "afraid" to be alone. And it was only like a 2 or 5 minute walk to where we walked. We literally just walked just up a hill to just watch a sunrise together, and that was it.

by the way, if she was scared of the dark (which it wasn't) ; why would she let herself be scared just so that we can watch a sunrise together?

I'm asking to see if maybe my friend might possibly have any romantic feelings for me, that's all.

That would have been the first question to ask her when she asked you to accompany her. I would have been pretty upset to be awaken so early in the morning for a 2 minutes walk just to see a sunrise.

Without a valid reason, you can be assured that I would not have accompanied her since obviously she was not in immediate danger.

Okay, that's fine. That's why I'm ask asking. Also, it's not "illusions" the correct form of the word is DELUSIONS. And how am I being delusional if I'm asking other women online what my friend's actions mean? It's not like I'm claiming that she is absolutely in love with me, I'm just asking what her actions could mean. It doesn't have to be because of romance, I just mentioned that in my later comment to you if that could also be a possibility.
