It depends on the type of place it is. If it’s something like a bar, ok hot women tend to get men to go into bars. A lot of men frequent bars on their own, but when you throw in hot women you’ll get more business. Now if it’s something nice, family oriented, I think that depends on the owners. If they’re ok w it than fine. But if I owned a restaurant I don’t think I’d want a hostess dressed like that. The pic of the lady looks like she’s wearing something a woman would wear who’s getting laid. Not restaurant attire.

Ok if you say so. Still a no go for me.

I agree with the opinion owner , it's a no go for me. A bar 🍺🍻 is okay , but a more family style restaurant or something like a family owned restaurant - most definitely not

I would’ve worded it as “ Is it appropriate for a barista / waitress to dress provocatively while greeting customers? “
It depends. I’m pretty sure in a couple of restaurants, the waiting staff (regardless male or female) having a uniform / standard outfit so it shouldn’t be up to me to decide however up to management. I wouldn’t go Karen mode or whatever, I’m just there to eat & go about my day.

no, it's bad taste, same as it is for guys to walk in wearing tarzan flap.
But I know women and girls and they are after something aren't they...

I'm not going to say using our sexual urges to sell things don't work. It works, and probably gets plus points if it twerks.
Reminds me of this trip to Hooters... I think San Diego. Was married then and my wife, I made her look like a sister... that's Blasian with big tits, but I had that Mexican chick sitting on my lap one step away from pulling my dick out and sucking it.
See, I recognized it's all just show, and if I asked her to go to the bathroom for a quickie she'd say no, but my wife on the other hand no... she was pissed. ... and felt a little dissed.
Then I get the check and hand it to my wife. Yeah bitch... I don't even pay the tip. But thanks for making my dick far harder than it would've been. I'll pretend I'm banging you and bang my wife then.
I forgot what I was talking about and started rapping because I'm listening to Eminem.
Look... selling sex works, it's the only reason I get laid. You think I have game? Or money... fuck no. So, I flex a bicep and get pelvis bouncing on my...
Morally... I wouldn't want my daughter doing that.
00 Reply The appropriateness of dressing provocatively while greeting customers at a restaurant depends on several factors, including the establishment's dress code, the cultural context, and the individual's comfort level. If the restaurant encourages a specific style of dress as part of its branding and the employee is comfortable with it, it might be considered acceptable. However, it's important to consider whether the attire aligns with the restaurant's image and the expectations of its clientele. Respect for personal boundaries and professionalism is key, and it's essential that the employee's attire does not lead to unwanted attention or make them feel objectified or uncomfortable. Ultimately, it should be a balanced decision respecting both the employee's and the restaurant's values.

Having worked for said restaurants the primary consideration for front desk & hostess is beauty. Managers discussed how to discretely dusuade men from applying. Face, smile, dress were the criteria. I think it's fine cuz as a private business they want to get your money and a pretty face and sexy body seems to do just that no matter what you're selling.

I personally don't see the issue with dressing like the girl in the image for the scenario you described.
It depends on the restaurant, who she tends to serve, etc. But if it's a bar or restaurant that tends to draw in adults, then I think it's fine.11 Reply Okay, in what context? Like, is it an issue of respecting her partner? An issue of exposing kids to nudity? My personal desire to see slutty chicks? Something else?
For those middle three questions: bad, bad, okay.23 Reply- 1 mo
It depends on what someone classifies as provocative but smart, sexy and classy is how hostesses usually dress but again depending on the establishment. I'm all for that and I guess the fine line of dress code depends on the type of establishment, location, etc... All in all I'm for.
11 Reply I know a lot of Bartenders and Hostess. They dress sexy to get tips and flirt with clients too. When men go to a bar they don't want to see a woman fully covered up. They would rather see cleavage and a flirtatious woman.
22 ReplyNo because it´s not the right time and environment for that. It attracts attention to her body but not to the restaurant.

Outside the cafe, your boss may think you're soliciting. If you're the hostess, you should follow the restaurant's expected dress code.
21 Reply I don't think this will have any impact on female customers. However, I think it will attract most single male customers to the cafe

11 Reply- 1 mo
I guess it depends on the place and what type of customers they’re trying to get into the place but there’s no need for it if it’s just a regular restaurant
12 Reply- 1 mo
If they are looking for big spenders then they need to get more men inside
Whether it's okay for a girl to dress provocatively while greeting customers at a restaurant depends on the context, the restaurant's dress code, and personal preferences. Some people might argue that it's inappropriate if it doesn't align with the establishment's atmosphere or if it makes customers uncomfortable. Others may feel that as long as she is comfortable and confident, her choice of attire is her personal decision.
00 ReplyDepends on how provocative it is I guess, that girl in the photo is fine

Hmmmmm. Except for Hooters and a couple other such places, isn't demanding provocative dress from your (especially female) employees sexual harassment?
11 Reply - 1 mo
Sorry it's the cliched response but I appreciate any woman who dresses provocatively.

I won't argue, but the food still better be good or I won't be going back.
12 Reply- 28 d
And the food is good too.
I'm sure it helps to draw customers in, probably mostly guys
21 ReplyYes, it is a good way to attract customers. But customers should not regret coming to the store.
11 ReplyA bar maybe but when I am about to eat the only thing provocative looking should be my food….. you first eat with your eyes….
11 ReplyI would be like "what are you selling again?"
11 ReplyAs long as the employer is ok with it and she feels good about it
12 Reply349 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I see no problem with that as long it’s bringing customers into the restaurant

It's fine, If you maintain a distance and don't bend over to talk to them in their car or for any other reason. Lol xD

Why outside?
Sounds like the kind of girl drawing customers into busy resort style restaurant/bar11 Reply It isn't a big deal. If she wants to wear that in order to use sexuality to attract business then so be it. Sex sells, that's capitalism for you BUT a negative side effect will also be opened up. Objectification of women is perhaps a less attractive message sent to passers by and patrons but there are some who aren't bothered by that as long as she's getting paid for it.
