Should younger hostesses at a restaurant be showing off cleavage?

is this somewhat higher end chain restaurant I go to , a lot of girls work there , other day I couldn't help but notice the hostesses and what they were wearing or not wearing.

at some point in the night when I was sitting at bar , 2 of them had to literally stand rate beside me and I sort of noticed them and got to see a bit more than I was expecting. both of them were wearing dresses and they were somewhat revealing showing off a fair amount of cleavage , which sort of surprised me

I don't really know either of these girls but I know the one is just finishing high school this year and the other one might be 18 , at that age it seems a bit off to be showing off so much cleavage at work mostly in front of older people

its gotten even worse or better depending on how you look at it , the one has seriously big boobs for her age and her dress really shows them off

I think it's ok, the majority of dresses will show some cleavage, especially in the summer when people are wearing less clothing. And restaurants intentionally hire young, good-looking girls for the front of the house, so there's an expectation that you'll dress in a flattering way even if they don't say it.

true most hire young good looking girls for those hostess positions but haven't seen any others that actually showed off that % of cleavage for work

Yeah, there's definitely a limit to how much cleavage is tasteful.

Should they? who knows. They use it to their advantage like every girl at some point does. Not like it will ever change.

Their manager probably encouraged it in order to get guys to spend more time and money. Sex sells.
