I would have if I could have except I did not pass at all during that time, and I live in a mixed area with a lot of Republicans. I would be scared that some bigot may endanger the baby bc they hate me (like by trying to physically take the baby from me, or call the police or some other stupid shit). So no, I probably still would have used formula or would have pumped beforehand & used bottles.

If the only issue would have been people maybe seeing my boobs though, then yes. I would not care so much about that. It's not sexual to feed a baby & people need to get over that idea.

I read a report about this last week. The women who spoke with the journalist said that most people have a problem with mothers breastfeeding in public. That's something I've never thought about since I am childless.
If I ever have kids, I won't breastfeed in public. I don't want to hear disgusting comments nor being threatened just because I'm feeding my child.
