What do most girls do when they go to the restroom together?

Most girls like to go to the restroom together when in a public place like a club or a restaurant. They cannot all possibly be going there to put make up on or fix their hair... So what do they do that the other girls don't mind going with them. I mean restrooms are mostly stinky, dirty, gross. Not a place where you'd like to be if you didn't have to.

This is done for security. Fortunately, this is not possible in Iceland, but I heard that in many countries of Europe and the USA it is not uncommon to be raped in the toilet. When the rapist hides in the toilet for girls, and then attacks if you make sure that she is alone.
