I saw some dating coach on YT say that a girl who compliments a guy is a creepy girl.

I came home and saw my super and his son dressed really nicely and I said wow! You guys look great. You should dress like that everyday.

Backstory:

The Dad has made subtle advances towards me that were absolutely not wholesome. I ignored them.

He's married and I get on well with his wife.

I totally have a crush on the son and he's been hot and cold with me but his body language tells me the whole story. I haven't done anything about it. Just chit chat and enjoy the view.

The mom has asked me some weird personal details.

The sister is super unfriendly with me now.

The little ones are always so sweet with me. The youngest boy obviously has a little crush on me but it's harmless.

Anyway, after the compliments that Dad seemed upset and gave me this hard stare. Not an invitation but kinda pissed.

Was I creepy?

complimenting people when urs genuine is lively. Sometimes it may be taken badly but that doesn’t make the compliment or the act wrong..,, and do you really want to date someone who doesn’t think you should speak freely?

No, your compliment is in fact so run of the mill I could swear I heard it twice before directed towards me and no one got upset. The fact the Dad got pissy though shows he's the creepy one, no one should be upset when some lady says this to their kid as a compliment. Also, why would the sisters be upset with that comment, that's also super weird.

@DrPepper12 interior decoration is a solid profession. Colors, the way the space is arranged all has an effect on your psyche and emotions. Also, they can help people express themselves better in their spaces because they know where to find the accesories and how to put things together. Also, they are solely focused on that while the person living there is distracted with paying bills, work etc. No no. Interior decorators are a bazillion times more useful than dating coaches.
