Ladies, what comes to your mind when a man insist on seeing you?

That's a massive red flag and automatic block if he is doing it through social media or texting. Someone that can't take a hint and persists tells me that they are going to be a terrible partner because what else are they going to be persistent about and annoy the hell out of me? So this is automatically a disqualification from a date or even seeing me. If it would get really bad I'd consider getting a restraining order. Some people can get really creepy and possibly dangerous. I'd also worry he is obsessed and being obsessive over anything isn't good. Being obsessive over a person. Good God no thank you.

I would think that he is needy and it would most likely make me feel less attracted to him because I'd feel like I'm losing my freedom.

Yes, I've had guys come over to my HOUSE without being invited, Like after I've hung up on them on the phone because I don't want to talk to them.

yeah , he is so needy , and how did you deal with the situation

With the most recent one, he knocked constantly on my door for over 20 minutes. Then he started banging on it with full strength, wouldn't stop, and I worried that he might break the door down. So I called the police and they came and told him to go home.

He had never even been in my house before so I don't know why he thought this was appropriate. I'd only known him for about 2 months.

that really was scary, it also weird to try to come to someone's home without even being invited , thank god he could not break the door otherwise he could hurt you , what happened after that did you break up with him , did you talk after what happened?

I broke up with him after, over the phone because he seemed kinda crazy.

Then he sent me a long horrible text message listing all the things that he hates about me. To this day, it still brings down my self esteem when I think about that message, even though it was 2 years ago. I'd told him some personal things about myself and he used them to talk bad about me, along with just random negative things that he'd noticed about me.

that is disapointing , we are human and everyone has it's flaws we should not used them against someone and made them regret on trust in us , i would say that it's better to ignore his messages and try to move on , it does not worth to stress yourself about it because everytime you will read those things you feel more pain

Insistence is always a sign of danger for me when it comes to human relations. This is never good because that means that despite the fact that he was given a negative answer and the clear instructions that he should refrain from ever contacting me, he does not care about what the girl's decision is.

That is a toxic behavior because that person is incapable to accept "no" as an answer. It may even degenerate into something that could possible lead to a situation that requires the use of force or other means to deter the perpetrator.
