My voice didn’t seem to matter in the relationship it was always her way or she would have a temper tantrum or threaten to break up. She would be physically and verbally abusive to me and our dog.

Not all, but there are a lot. A lot of women already have a backup man. They know that if things don’t work out I can run to Tom or one of my male friends who I friend zoned but I know he likes me so he’ll take care of me if she needs to. Men’s feelings really don’t mean a lot to women. They say they want a man who’s emotional, in touch w his feelings. But when his feelings have to do w something you don’t like that she does or doesn’t do especially when it comes to her behavior, she doesn’t like it. Now you’re just a complaining, whining bitch.

The problem is she was so abusive and was able to successfully get everyone to believe she was the victim. I had went through so much and my mental health went to shit

Just know that's a very rare mental disorder in society and most people don't have that.

Yeah what really messed me up was how people just went along with it they knew it was happening her own mother even said she mistreating me. One day she drove out of state to visit us and had me go to the store with her as a decoy to tell me that she’s sorry for what’s going on and that she was afraid of her daughter running me off and that the behaviors she’s showing she didn’t get it from her. She completely turned and started ignoring the abuse later on even when I told her that her daughter had started hitting me she down played it same when u would talk about how she was hitting and kicking our dog

Yeah I think that’s why I have been struggling with the after effects as long as I have it’s one thing for someone to not know something is going on but to know and intentionally ignore it is something else
