If a woman has a habit of making "50 Shades of Grey" references, is she trying to send a hint?

Like if she does this on occasion, any time the word "shades" comes up, or the color grey or something like that, she'll make some kind of reference to 50 Shades of Grey and sort of smirk. She does this occasionally, and has been doing it for years.

Is she doing that as a "hint", like maybe she's trying to tell you that she's into kink/rough sex? Do you think there's a good chance that she is into that? Why else would she keep coming back to this same reference out of seemingly nowhere?

By "smirk" I mean, she kind of like brings it up in a taunting sort of tone like "oohhh, it's 50 Shades of Grey?" like it's a question, with a grinning expression on her face. Or something like that, is what she usually does.

I agree. Between her docile personality, the references, her style of flirting (play fight/arguing, sassing, acting bratty) - I get a strong feeling that she's secretly dying to be made into someone's sub-slut and is interested in all kinds of freaky things.
