Asking people out?

Why don't girls make moves on guys anymore or at least make it obvious why must guys be the one to come up and ask someone out y can't girls

In life I always say if you never try you will never know & as for me I rather try & fail rather than not try at all. On the other side of things I also always say if you like someone you shouldn’t be afraid to let them know & you certainly shouldn’t be afraid to take a chance on them as well. As for people today they’re aren’t like people in the past & in fact people are changing on a daily basis. Guys in the past always asked a girl out & nowadays guys aren’t really asking & nowadays I think girls should turn the tables on guys & ask us out. Technology is killing the dating game & to be honest so many people are so glued to their screens it’s like they are oblivious to what is really going on in the wonderful offline world.

It's down to the girl to give the signals. Generally this is lots of eye contact or looking over.

Then it's down to guy to approach!

I might step it up with "accidentally " grabbing onto your bicep as I'm passing to "steady myself". This way I can gauge the guys interest and gives him an opening to talk to me. 😄

Guys.. you gotta be more clued up on the signals!

Unfortunately between covid and online interactions taking over from real life, a lot of these body language clues are disappearing!

I once joked we should have a tinder type app in bars and restaurants where we can swipe on the people actually present in the venue. Then if you "match" you get the heads up and can approach them knowing there is that initial attraction question passed lol

Most women have been brought up with the idea that men should be the ones approaching (I agree with this )


Men are natural hunters and go for what they want. If I had to approach a guy I would already believe he’s not interested because if he was he wouldn’t wait for you to approach first.

Because if most girls did the approaching you'd have men calling us sluts and whores and saying we aren't feminine and acting masculine instead.

Some of us have approached men before but it doesn't change the fact that we'll still get called out for it and judged for it.

Sure there are but there are enough that ruin it for the rest of you sadly. And if you speak out against them they'll label you a simp, so most men won't stick up for us or have our backs when we are labeled unfeminine or sluts

Because we’re told men are the leaders and such and that it’s a turn off to men if a woman asks out a man instead of the other way around.
