Asking a guy out? Asking a celebrity out?

I have a question about girls asking guys out.

It's more of a celebrity question.

Since we're almost all connected via twitter, it's easier to try and contact more well-known people. What do you think about being forward (NOT creepy) and asking a famous person about getting to know each other, which might end up being a date sometime in the future? I don't mean someone being creepy and begging to go on a date. Just an honest person that happens to think a celebrity seems like a nice person, and would like to know more.

And a general question for guys: Do you find it weird when girls are forward and ask guys out?

Honest answers please. Nothing stupid and a waste of time.

Well, there are lots of celebrities that truly want to date outside of the industry, more "normal" girls. I'm not talking Justin Bieber, but I'm also not referring to a real local celebrity either. Would that change your opinion?

I have a real good friend who I've known since elementary school and she wants to try and get to know a celebrity, but the only way she can talk to him is send fan mail or a tweet or something. So even though it'd be less weird to have a convo before

When a girl is more forward I find it a lot easier to make a move in the future if I have an interest in them. If it is a girl I never met before and she comes off to forward before we actually have a conversation, then I'll find it weird.

You need to remember that celebrities can be cocky and conceited, they may not even answer you. Plus it depends on the celebrity, if it's someone like Justin Bieber or even Shia LaBeouf I'm sure they get it all the time. Now if it is more local, then the chances of getting to know them is much better (unless you live in Hollywood). You also need to put in the factor that celebrities tend to date other celebrities most of the time.

I don't think celebs would fall for it because most of them seem to think the less fortunate is gold diggers or money hungry so they usually stick with people that have as good as an income as they do. But I don't think its weird for girls to ask out a guy..I personally wouldn't do it but if the guy is to shy to put the label on it and your pretty much dating already then they should say what and how they feel.
