Why are so many girls now obsessed with being masculine?

It's cringe af, but they're free to act however they want obviously. Just wondering if you guys had any thoughts on what led to this shift from girls trying their hardest to be feminine to trying their hardest to be masculine.

One guess that comes to mind is maybe they're all trying to be single and they know that acting masculine will push guys away. I can't explain why the ones in relationships do it though.

I think it was a good idea went bad. I'm not going to beat the old trope of feminism. Because feminism in it's inception was to lift women up and it did. But at some point it stopped being about lifting women up and became about flat out competing with men. Now you've got single women raising other women to hate men.

Women now want to be able to turn men on and off and control them. And they'll use feminine wiles to do it. But where these women have made their miscalculation is they've been taught all men are dogs and want that one thing. But a decent man wants love and respect, same as her. And the ones that don't get it WILL walk away. So she's unknowingly driving all the good me away leaving nothing but the dogs.

The end result is these women forever live in an unsatisfied world where they date a man using sex to manipulate and keep him convincing herself it's love that keeps him and that he respects her as a person. But the REALITY is the minute that sex dries up he off to find another woman.

It's the sad reality of male female relations in the modern Era.

The ones in relationships are doing it because they want to get away from the man they're with. They still act feminine for the replacement guy.

To answer the original question, I don't know. If guys would stop being bitches and stay away from masculine women, it wouldn't be a problem though.

I haven’t noticed this trend. In what settings are you seeing it? Is it in younger people like at college or just in general?

Definitely a massive trend with the younger crowd, but I'm noticing the same thing with 30s and 40s women too. I see it in every setting possible. From work, to gym, to social settings. All the young guys I'm friends with talk about it. The older guys seem oblivious to it. Or maybe just used to it.
