I'm going to presume you mean "physically walking away" and being watched? That's only sexy  all by itself  if you have, in the observer's opinion, a beautiful ass and walk. That's going to be very subjective. If you've talked to the person and he thinks you're sexy already, then however you look walking away will be sexy to him.

I don't see anything universally seen as sexy from a woman. But we made up a lot of popular sayings since forever, with or without truth contained, in that case I've never heard of this one, and I don't see any truth there.

You canbusually assume that if a guy is interested he will keep trying. Not if you're mean about it. Maybe say that right now isn't a great time and if you think he's worth hooking up with ask him for his phone #. That will impress him make him think that you aren't just going to say yes to whatever he wants. but it still leaves the possibility open and I think it's a sexy, sophisticated way of dealing with it
