Tell me about a time you had to think on your feet to solve an issue?

This happens virtually every day to me. I have to try and deal with very complex situations involving mental illness and disability and others and often in a legal context, when a court is trying to determine whether or not the person is so disabled that they need to be confined entreated in a hospital at least temporarily for their own safety and the safety of others. I am specifically trained to do this and I enjoy being able to help mentally ill people and also to protect others at the same time.

Doing this work helps me to participate in making sure that my community is a safe place and a caring place for everyone and I feel as both a medical professional and a citizen, the things that I do in this context fulfill my role and responsibilities very well.

Constantly at work. In my line of work, no matter how prepared we are, there's always the chance of a piece of equipment braking or an unforseen issue with a venue forcing us to pivot. I do it pretty well though. I can visualize the solution and how I can adapt given the resources I have on site at that moment.

The time my cousin, my parents and I visited my grandma with dementia on Christmas day and I had to use my training as an aged care support worker to handle everything for everyone involved, as did my mum.
