How to gauge her interest?

Been talking to this girl lately...

• We sometimes chit-chat during work and eat lunch together with others.
• She appears quite shy at first, but turns out to be quite sociable. Tells me that she is actually very introverted.
• She likes to tease me and I would tease her back. Sometimes she doesn't back down and keeps spamming "no, you!" and I would do the same. (yeah I know it's childish, please don't hate me.)
• Weeks go by, I get to know her more and like her personality.
• She seems comfortable enough with me. Sometimes comes over to talk to me during work.
• Looking back, I realize we have always sat opposite / next to each other during lunch and walk side-by-side everytime to lunch too.
• Once, I tried to gauge her interest by calling her personality cute after a remark she made. Her interaction with me didn't change. I am not sure what to make of that.

Our interactions are mostly surface-level stuff like random news and gossips.

While I try to ask her personal questions like her hobbies and interests, she doesn't ask me anything about myself.

Maybe this is game over and I am just a chat buddy.
