How sexy is smart in your eyes?

Here's a few smart women as examples. Does their brains overcome deficiencies in appearance. Reality is, if you mate with a smarter person, you get a chance to get their genetics... and have smart kids. Those kids can then outsmart you, trick you. you better be careful...

So... What is supposed to be wrong with Cecilia Payne's appearance? She might be my type, You know! And I do have some interest in chemistry, so I guess we'd have some topics to talk about, unless she got bored to death with my lack of advanced chemistry knowledge.

As for Margaret Hamilton... Jeez... A fellow coder with these looks... She does look a little intimidating, but if she's a coder, she's most likely alright, and otherwise, she's gorgeous. Though it would be shameful to get totally owned by her in some friendly coding competition, I guess. I am nowhere near sending anything to the Moon with my coding skills.

With Katherine Johnson, You do not tell us who she is (should I perhaps know it?), and I admit she does look a bit like a hateful feminist with that creepy smile. Though it might just be the photo and the smile might as well be a shy and awkward one. Therefore, I cannot pass any sound judgement on her.

As for Coco's helper... Jeez, who did take that photo? She looks like she's being choked by Coco, and beyond that, I just can't tell much about her. Though again, she does look somewhat cute. She's probably blonde, though, so she'd have an anti-Amber Heard-class life destroyer-shield of mine to break through first. An affinity with wildlife is a big plus, though.

Oh, and as for the contrast... She's got that fishy, model-like type of beauty, including horribly obvious make-up. Might be doll-like cute if not for this unnaturally blonde hair of hers. Coupled with her somewhat disdainful facial expression... That earns her an advanced, upgraded anti-Amber Heard-class life destroyer-shield for her to break through. I don't think she'd bother breaking it, though. Not like I'm either rich or attractive enough for her to take this much interest in me.

I never thought of smart as sexy or erotic.
I'm turned on by looks, voice, mannerisms, grooming, attire and sexuality. A girl who has all that AND brains is a keeper.

I wouldn't be in a relationship for long with a dim bulb.

I don't associate sex with intelligence or being smart and the term "sexy" makes me cringe because everything in this life has to be associated with sex/pornography in a way or another. That is so disturbing.

Why does it have to be like that? Why must everything be sexualized. If I look up the definition of "sexy", I get:

"sexually attractive or exciting".

Is there really nothing in life that is sacred? Does everything revolve around sex in the US or the corrupt Western world?

Probably the next thing that will come up is that a child is sexy and that is just sick and denotes how perverted our society really is.

It can be sexy depending on the chemistry and connection I have with her , but overall it’s not that important to me , whether she is or isn’t , all that matters is she has common sense , I know a lot of smart people that lack common sense big time , they might be smart but they are dumb as well. That’s a turn off

Are you asking girls if we like smart guys or are you asking if guys like smart girls or both?

I like smart guys but, I may have a broader idea of what “smart” is than some, I do not mean a weird guy saying “well ACTUALLY” at everything you say, or who has a reputation of being super smart in say, math but not good with people or that kind of thing, I like guys who are smart and good with people. And I don’t want him to be unattractive but I am not that concerned about him being super attractive, the other traits are more important to me. JMO!

Smart by itself isn't a huge deal for me. It's more like that a girl has knowledge and interest in common topics as me so we can have deep conversations. So perhaps maybe more like nerdy. Like someone who has read random wikipedia articles in their free time because they like learning, like me.

Intelligence is attractive up to a certain point. They should be able to converse at my level, understand my humor, and think for themselves. They don't have to have an Einstein level of intelligence for me to be attracted to them.

What's more important is physical attraction and similarities in views, interests, sense of humor, vision of their future, sexual compatibility, etc.

First, I don't really see any glaring deficiencies in appearance. So for that level of intellect, I would absolutely choose them over a Barbie. There is no contest. Intellect is incredibly sexy and seductive.

intelligence isn't sexually attractive.
It is however mentally attractive, and a partner needs to be sexually and mentally attractive, while also sharing hobbies and interests.

One can't make up for a lack in any of the others though.

Smart is okay until they start being arrogant because they think they are better then you. For me as long as your not dumb as a rock, we’re good. I dont put much emphasis on intelligence because i expect at least basic level and that’s good enough. Being smart has little effect on a relationship unless you’re being relationship smart

Ultimately though... it isn't that "intelligence is sexy". It is that intelligence is the minimum baseline for consideration. Idiocy is a dealbreaker. They don't just have to be intelligent. They'd have to be intelligent AND attractive... and that necessarily means glasses.

Not really = Not at all. which is actually my vote. There is good evidence that women sexually selected for smart men. But men just didn't see a point to that and selected for the bottom pic.
