You provided your thesis statement, but haven't provided evidence for why you think that. Without providing evidence, what do you base your claim on?

I sourced the article your thesis may be based on, and found the correlation sloppy at best. The article is from The Lancet, published in 2012, evaluating physical activity levels on a global scale.

The statement your thesis claim is most likely based on is as follows:

"Worldwide, 31·1% (95% CI 30·9–31·2) of adults are physically inactive (bold + emphasis mine). This value represents the weighted average of the proportion in the countries studied, taking into account population sizes. The frequency of inactivity varied greatly between WHO regions (figure 1): 27·5% (27·3–27·7) of people are inactive in Africa, 43·3% (43·0–43·6) in the Americas, 43·2% (42·8–43·6) in the eastern Mediterranean, 34·8% (34·5–35·1) in Europe, 17·0% (16·8–17·2) in southeast Asia, and 33·7% (33·5–33·9) in the western Pacific. Women are more inactive (33·9%) than are men (27·9%) (bold mine). Based on this study, it appears that from the data collected women are more inactive than men. You may wish to clarify your thesis to read "physically lazier", to prevent a misunderstanding of your claim.

To answer your question (why is this?) based on your original thesis, we'll assume for a moment that your thesis is sound. One area that may be worth consideration is the increase in autoimmune disease in women, who are more likely to be diagnosed with an autoimmune disease than men. Another is the increase in mental illness, which affects all areas of life and is also more common in women, particularly younger women. Those are two areas that have potential as co-factors in laziness. This possibility could lead us to consider laziness as less of a character flaw and more of a symptom of a health problem interfering with healthy executive function and work ethic.

I don't know about that lol The women I've worked with were all extremely hard workers. The problem was, after being on the job for only a day, they suddenly start telling me (their Boss) how to do things! That can be irritating.
