What do you think when you see a girl who always has her hair up in class? As in, how do you perceive her personality?

I don't think that you can deduct a personality type just by the way a person is having her hair up or down. There are multiple reasons why someone has her hair in a way or another.

She could have long hair and keeping them down in the hot season is simply uncomfortable as it creates a heat trap to keep the hair down. It could be because of a fashionable way to keep her hair up. It could be because she doe not have nice enough hair to keep it down or it could be because she has alopecia and keeping her hair up hides the thinning hair.

Absolutely I agree, I was just wondering if it changes how you see them (ex. comfortable in their own skin, confident, etc.) not saying that someones personality is determined the way they choose to do their hair, it is definitely not.

Depends on her age, the style, etc. It also depends on the type of class it is.

1. (If you're 51, you're probably the instructor.) The instructor has their hair up out of necessity (based on the level of heat in the classroom, or by law if it's a cooking/shop/science class) and/or as a stylistic preference to appear more professional.

2. (If you're not 51 and you're a student in class.) Students wear their hair in sloppy buns or clipped up in a "distracted" sort of style that shows they're not paying attention to how they look.

3. Overdone "updo" hints that the person is a little uptight and has put too much thought into their appearance.
