Gas is gas & it’s better to burp & taste it rather than fart and waste it. Yes your burps do smell & depending on what you eat or drink.

If you eat absolute Crp , then thats what will come out , so NO they should NOT smell , sounds disgusting , if this is happening and intake is good , its gases , see a doctor about it.
