Girls, does she just find me ugly but to kind to say?

So I've been talking to this girl on Discord for a while now, and I find her cute. From what I can tell, she seems to like me too, even though we've never seen each other's faces. The reason I think she likes me is that she said my voice was attractive to her, which was a huge confidence boost. We started chatting more, and eventually, she called me once. After a bit, she asked what I looked like, and I sent her a picture of myself. She replied saying her friend was calling her and that she'd call me back.

Now I’m just wondering if I should read into this. I know it's a lot to ask, but ladies, could you give me some blunt, honest feedback on what these signs mean? I just want to know if I’m wasting my time or if there’s something there I should hold onto. Please, hit me with the truth so I can move on either way.

Did she call you back or did this literally just happen and you are getting anxious? If this didn't just happen did she call you back? That should tell you everything you need to know. Then I would be curious to know what was said once she did call back. Now if this just happened and you are waiting and have some anxiety that doesn't mean she won't. I would not count it as an excuse to escape until that becomes very obvious... which it will in time. If she doesn't get back to you and starts to distance herself from you on discord then yeah it could mean exactly what you think. That doesn't mean you ARE ugly just that she isn't physically attracted to you. See the biggest problem is that she likely built an image in her head over time and then finally saw what you actually looked like and it didn't match what she had imagined. That doesn't mean she finds you ugly but just didn't match what she thought.

Happened 2 days ago and no wasn't called back. Though would prefer direct rejection had this been case.
