I think it's fine to choose to prevent the pregnancy after the fact with a safer alternative to actually birthing a child but it's more honourable to inform the other party of the decision you're making instead of denying them the knowledge.
Imagine the reverse when he's expecting you to not get pregnant and accidentally you do then you decide to keep it and he's not wanting to. You just sentenced him to 2 decades of legally enforce servitude to YOUR decision against his consent to get pregnant.

I think abortions a cowardly thing to do. Many of them would never tell someone because they’re cowards. It’s like men who refuse to pay child support when they choose to sleep around.

People want to have sex without the consequences. They don’t desire any genuine connection and play the victim when they have sex with deadbeats and losers. As well as men who have sex with sluts.

I would probably tell the guy I was going to do it just so he knows.. so hopefully he makes better decisions next time. Plus I would want to know his reaction because if he fully doesn't care it would make me realize I probably shouldn't even be sleeping with this guy at all..

Proud of my seed? WTF, no! I'd be kicking my own ass for being careless and putting the woman through that even if she shares part of the blame. And I'd be concerned about doing the right thing now that we'd fucked up royally (pun intended). Support her decision. Be there if she wants. Basically be a man and accept the consequences of my actions. Luckily, I've never committed that particular act of stupidity.

If that were the case I doubt I would have ever told him. There were times I did take a morning after pill after having a one nighter, never mentioned to him and many times never saw him again.

Father's Day is the most confusing day in Dundee!! If I got pregnant even from a casual / one-night stand I would tell the father. Even if he was not interested or didn't want the baby, ending the pregnancy prematurely or adoption would not be an option for me

It's never a proudly moment and people shouldn't do things lightly when that happens.

This like double edge knife, in one way people should take responsibility for their acts (when we are talking not having precautions) so, both should decide.

Another way, is having that child born could be an problem too. Many people outthere don't have capacity to raise a child. It's so sad when you saw everyday kids suffering from uncareless parents.

I can't think of any beneficial reason for telling the guy, especially if our sexual encounter had been totally casual; purely carnal with no personal attachment.

But if we cared for each other and she wanted emotional support or help paying for the meds, I would be there for her.
