Mine usually last 6 days. First second and sometime third I have cramping. Second and third day is very heavy bleeding. Then it's all downhill from there. I love for my boyfriend to have sex with me while I'm having cramps. It makes them go away temporarily and then if he has sex with me and you're the end of my period he will go ahead and knock it out. Sex is great for a woman and her hormones during this time. Oh my boyfriend always seems to knock me into starting.

3-5 days. I take two 200mg Ibuprofen at first and second day if I have to work. I need to focus otherwise my patients suffer when I make a mistake.

My period is nearly 7 days long, it cramps for the first 2 days, i never bloat, but everything is okay for the remainder of the bloody days. Mine is kinda irregular ig because i will get it every 2 months, disappears for a month and then comes back. I don't know why tho!

  YES, heavy flow for the first half, its normal for the last 2 days though. Not on birth control, I use pads.

  Birth control really helps with cramps and usually reduces the bleeding. I don't wear pads as I worry too much that people that are close to me can smell them.

3 or 4 days now that I take progesterone. Longer than seven days is a sign of a reproductive disorder. Do some research and then talk to your obgyn

  @brucewayne987 Very good for regular sex too. My then-wife loved to have sex while she was bleeding. Her hormones made her horny and the blood was a great lubricant. We just had to be careful... it can get messy.

  Yeah. It might very at one point did. I think it only lasts about a week at least now due to flow change. Instead of it being heavy throughout, it's heavy and then gets lighter. It's good for me but that's how long it could go. Usually doesn't anymore.
