I get most of you are normal and usually are the ones perpetrating these things but what makes someone subject to insults, bullying, laughter and social ostracizing? Can these people do anything to alleviate the torment or will it always be this way? Note : I was never bullied in HS or prior, occasionally teased but I went through life without issue it wasn't until age 19/20 when in the real world did I begin to receive this onslaught of hatred and rejection. I was seen as weird by girls growing up and I dont know why.

in most cases our insecurities show up this way... in school mostly people with low esteem get bullied... because they are visible and easy targets... they wouldn't fight back...
in adult life still the low self-esteem gets people into trouble... but not only... bad experiences from earlier years can create trust issues... it makes people misread the signals from other people and situations... everything is seen as the worst-case scenario... in the professional and private life...
so... it always starts with us... and of course... it's not fair if a person is bullied because of problems they face...
but we can't control or change other people... we can only control and change ourselves...
They used to call me "white girl" or "goody two shoes" in middle school because I spoke properly and didn't curse..
People, generally speaking, are their own worst enemies. Most of these issues are self-inflicted.
everyone has their own insecurities... Yes.. Doesn't take away from bullying and seeing others as less than you
