So what about: I like to go canoeing, hiking, my dad likes to farm so I love helping him with that, anything outside. I also like to go on road trips with my friends and sit around the fire just talking.

Just tell them what you genuinely do; they should like you for you! But having a unique hobby or mentioning something that you know they like to do is probably what they want to hear.
