It still does. But if I’m just looking as far as someone to have a one night stand w or mess around w for a while, then no. But if we’re talking about settling down, having kids then yes it would matter almost always. I’m already settled down now, have been for about 17 years. But thinking back to those days yes it mattered. I’ve come to realize that if a girl is hot but still single in her late 20s and up, more then likely she has a lot of mental issues going on. Men gravitate toward beauty. So the fact that no one nailed her down usually tells me she’s got a lot to unpack there. Not good for a relationship in most cases.

Women, generally, are most attractive from 18-24. Women can still be attractive when they are older than that, and some women look better in their 30's or 40's. But most women are most attractive at that range. Physical attractive aside, if a man wants to have a family, the older the woman is, the riskier it is. So age definitely matters.

It depends on what a man is looking for. Beauty is a proxy for being fertile and healthy enough to bear and raise children. So if a man wants a family, age definitely matters. If he doesn't age is just a number.
