Why is suicide rate of women, in various countries, consistently less than men?

I can guess why married men in u. s. are more frustrated than married men in iraq in picture, due to cultures, but why is women less?

and 3, how is America so much better life , than misery in east Europe where rate is much worse in pictures:

It's because no one cares what happens to men. Men are expected to take care of themselves. Women are expected to need help (because most do), so society has built rules and expectations and laws and support systems to help women at multiple levels, including basic societal interest - but not for men.

Men are expected to be tough enough to deal with the struggles of life, and are often looked at as a failure if they can't - regardless of their situation.

It's really that simple, and while it's nothing new, Feminism having demonized men for the last 50 years has only made it worse and further widened the gender gap for suicide.

I do not know but I know that the suicide rate among white middle aged men in the US has skyrocketed. i read the obits every day. If somebody is under 30 it is usually a fentanyl OD If they are in their 50s it is usually a suicide.

I think because society says that men shouldn't be expressing their feelings or concerned, so they bottle it up until it becomes too much.

Because men are better at committing suicide. Women tend to take pills. Men hang themselves, or shoot themselves.
