I mean ya gotta figure suicide rate is an extremely good predictor of how depressed or how difficult someone’s life is right? So why are men killing themselves at much higher rates if their lives are easier than women’s?
Because men are really shit at seeking help.
Women will and do openly discuss mental health issues, emotions etc.
A girl and guy break up, the girl will sit and chat n cry with her friends, the guy will sit alone in his room not able to talk to his friends, as he knows they will just tell him to man up and get over it or other bollox.

20 guys and 20 girls are talked to as part of out reach work.
19 girls will attend for Initial Assessment at Centre.
12 guys will attend for IA at the centre
after IA’s it will be down to 15 girls and 8 guys who go on to counselling sessions.
about 5 guys will drop out and maybe 1 girl.
Thats 17 guys who have mental health issues who for whatever reason have not continued with counselling.
Those ratios where pretty much the same year in year out.
The other part is that men will go for the most violent approach such as hanging, walk in front of a train, a girl will go for pills or cut wrists.
Well, for one thing, women actually attempt suicide far more than men, they just try less violent means and don't succeed nearly as often.
But the larger point is that suicide is not an indication of how well life is going. For one thing, quality of life is subjective. A kid living in a refrigerator box can have happier days than a billionaire (not many more, surely). Suicide is usually the result of either wanting attention or deciding that life is meaningless. I can't really speak to the prior but as for life being meaningless there is no "better" life when one realizes that the basis we have been using to measure such things is conpletely imaginary. Unless you are in the process of committing suicide you do not know the motives of those who do, and so speaking on their behalf, claiming their victimhood as your own, is necissarily in bad faith.
Because we know how to express emotions and talk about our problems meanwhile a lot of men suppress those emotions and it builds up into self harm or violent outbursts.
Nobody is saying men don't have problems, its about being treated equally. Men are allowed to have and express feelings just as much as women do and don't need any laws to be passed to allow them to do that.
Women are more likely to seek therapeutic and treatment methods. Men are far less likely do so.

Instead, men often turn to distractions and copes such as drugs and alcohol, porn, video games, etc.

Women attempt suicide more often but less likely to kill themselves on any attempt.
Men attempt comment suicide less often but more likely to kill themselves on any attempt.
Men choose more violent gruesome related way to kill themselves statistically. While women choose cutting and medication overdose to kill themselves statistically. So even with more attempted suicides by women there is a higher chance to save them within these attempts.
While men who commit suicide are statistically more likely to chose guns to do so. Suicide for anyone is a very lonely experience and i don't understand how the entirety of feminism rest on the shoulders of any given or entirely on any given lost souls.
Everybody will parrot each other here and say that it’s because women feel more free to show their emotions and seek help.
What they misunderstand is that men don’t process emotions in the same way as women, we don’t think like women, and therefore solutions which work for women do not work for most of us.
Everybody assumes that it does or that it should, because they’ve been taught that the differences between men and women are socially conditioned.
Personally, I’ve been suicidal in the past, years ago. I wasn’t depressed because I was afraid of showing my emotions, I didn’t give a shit about that. I spoke to friends and family and cried a lot during that time because I really wanted to kill myself but I didn’t want to hurt my family by doing so.
I went for counselling. It didn’t help me in any way, if anything I always felt worse afterwards, so I stopped. It just did nothing for me. That’s it. Simple as.
You are not understanding that females attempt suicide as much as men do.
But we don't play around with pills or cutting our wrists.
We hang ourselves or blow our brains out.
Beside no one claim that all men have it better than women. It is quite obvious there are men in horrible situations. Even some who are being abused by women.
That still does not excuse sexism.
We all know that life as a man is harder than as a woman, on average. Life being "so hard for a woman" is a justification for them to treat men as oppressive predators. It's no less a scam than a panhandler coming at you with a sob story to get you to give them something.
It’s actually 4x. You can’t get a square response from feminists on this matter because they refuse to acknowledge their own privileges and men’s sacrifices. You’ve got some huevos posting this without the benefit of anonymity though.
Because men have an internal social stigma against emotional expression and seeking psychological help.
Guys, get help if you need it. It's ok and nobody worthwhile will judge you for it.
Women attempt suicide more often. Women will take pills. My uncle shot himself in the throat with a 12 gauge shotgun. Mem choose more effective methods.

Women actually attempt suicide more than men do. The whole thing about men not seeking help is nonsense. Women want out of their lives more than men do, they're just too cowardly to go through with it.
Men definitely don't have it easier. In the USA more men get raped than women, you can thank our prison system for that.
