There are simps and White Knights all over the internet to help women in need, but why don't women ever offer the same support towards helping men?

Was just thinking about this. If a woman has a problem, twenty men will materialize out of nowhere to help her with it by any means necessary (even over the internet, where their chances of getting sex out of it are near nonexistent). But if a man is feeling depressed or suicidal even, very VERY few women seem to give a sh*t whatsoever. Like, at all. I'd say maybe 1% at most might DM that man to offer a helping ear and advice, but I've noticed most will not care whatsoever.

Does this mean men, by nature, are more helpful and sympathetic than women are? (Some men responding might think so.) If not, what is the reason?

A new instant classic quote by ItAGundam (a YouTube comedian and VTuber): "Women get periods once a month. A man's whole life is a period." He continued on by saying, "If you're a man and you're falling from an airplane, you gotta do what you gotta do to survive, by any means necessary. But [modern] women get a parachute in life for everything. There is little risk with being a woman, nowadays. Someone will always come along to help you. Women always have a parachute no matter how life goes." This was in response to Twitch thots and OnlyFans, and how feminists can still complain women have it harder in society when such revenue streams exist exclusively for them.

Anyway, this isn't a "complainer" post. I'm legitimately asking. Why do men, on average, seem kinder and more willing to help women, than women ever do towards any man (and most other women)? Doesn't that imply women are more selfish and cold-hearted than men are? Even if White Knights aren't genuine, it's still better than leaving you high and dry when you could use help or some kind words on a crappy day, right?

We are biologically wired to prioritize women over men. Neotenous biological traits cause people to see those people with them as more vulnerable, this is why women have substantially more of them then men do (neotenous biological traits are simply traits that are held over from childhood. So less pronounced bone structures in the face, slope of the forehead, more tear ducts (and narrower channels for women making them physically more capable of crying then men are), thinner and thus softer skin, less body hair etc. are all traits found in youth and also women).

Now this has always been the case that men have never had help from women, however historically they did have RESPECT from women as they sacrificed for the benefit of the woman. But with the modern era women can distance men from the fruits of their labor (they need a man to build their house for them, but they no longer need to marry him, know him, to get his labor unlike in the past. This means she doesn't have to learn to empathize with men because she can always be separate from them). Same goes for wealth distribution which women are all for and which takes wealth from men and gives it to women (most well fair recipients are women yet men are the primary contributors to society as far as wealth goes (paying at least according to one study, 200x more in taxes then women do).

So this is why it seems so much more sever, because we have always had to be on our own but at least women close to us depended on us and thus where able to empathize with us and women in general had great respect for men as they where their protectors and providers. But with modern society they have been told at every stage of their life that men are the enemy, that men held them back and thus you should not respect them and you should not empathize with them. And thanks to modern technology, they no longer directly need men to care for them (society still needs them but women don't have to see men doing these things or be particularly kind to them to get these things from them.), so their is little incentive for women to care.

Thats why we are 80% of all suicides, 80% of all homeless, 98% o all workplace deaths and accidents, 97% of all war time casualties (military and civilian), are only 45% o college graduates, are far more likely to be laid off, less likely to be hired etc. because we are expected to be able to do everything on our own and if we do suffer feminism and modern society has convinced women that its our fault (ironic, they talk about victim shaming yet that is precisely what they do to men).

Women expect and demand that white knights come rushing to their aid. Women are so used to having a ready supply of simps on hand that they take it for granted. No matter how cruel or stupid a woman is, there will always be simps to defend her. Why should women show simps respect when there is an endless supply of simps?

Traditional society teaches men to care for women as a group, and for women to care for men as individuals. Psychologically, it has been demonstrated that both men and women prefer women when giving benefit to unknown third parties. There are correlations between testosterone and a willingness to give charity. I could go on.

End of the day, individuals do those things, and we always see more of what stands out, which is whatever we don't see as normal. Lots of people have lots of different ideas of what is normal.

Mostly true but when the Titantic was sinking and all of the men were willing to sacrifice themselves to give women and children room in the life boats: not one woman volunteered to stay behind with the man she "loved". So if a guy thinks his woman "loves" him as much as he "loves" her, the odds say otherwise.

Because women know men are stronger by nature. They don't help for the same reason that the house cat doesn't try to help the Lion. If you will be the lion instead of worrying about house cats everything will be fine in your life. I do preach about house cats on here so that young guys and foolish older men might get new ideas.

Because women are taught to look out for themselves and treat men as potential (likely) adversaries. So if something bad happens to a guy, in their minds, he was a likely rapist or jerk anyhow, so who cares?

I think it’s based on the way we are raised: we are taught gender roles from an early age. Women are taken care of and protected, because they’re not good enough to take care of themselves. Men are seen as stoic self-sufficient capable people. These two mindsets are fucked up and can cause a lot of harm in different ways.
It’s really sad because men can’t get the help they need. Though I disagree with the part of the post that said women don’t help people- we are taught not to help men, but we definitely help other women.
It’s not so much which gender is taught to help, it’s which genders we are taught “needs” help and which one “doesn’t” (I don’t know if I’m being clear sorry). I don’t believe any gender is more empathetic than the other (nurture>nature in my opinion), but it’s still really sad and everybody should get the help they need.

If gender roles are taught, then why does every society and every culture have gender roles? They are not taught, they are inherent, or at least heavily informed by our biological predispositions.

Men have 60% greater upper body strength, nearly 50% greater lower body strength, 25% thicker skin, more pronounce bone structure of the face (protects it from blunt impact), significantly denser and stronger bones, a more over all robust body structure, fewer tear ducts and broader channels making men physically less capable of crying then women etc. etc. These differences don't exist for no reason.

Women have more neotenous biological traits then men (traits held over from childhood, like thinner skin and more tear ducts, smaller frame, less pronounced bone structure, etc. etc.). These traits hijack our biological drive to protect the young making it so that men are seen as incappable of being victims and women as only capable of being victims. This is why we have these differences.

the reason why its worse now then ever before is because we are being told that we are not different when we are, that masculinity is "toxic" and evil and that is why women should act like men and men should act like women. Its the refusal to acknowledge our differences and the refusal to humanize men (you cannot respect or love a man if you think that men are inherently oppressive which is the current societal narrative, that men are responsible for domestic abuse (statistically women are actually slightly more likey to commit it then men are), that they oppressed women for all of history (factually incorrect) that rape is rampant (it isn't, your life time chance of rape is statistically insigificant and is also the same statistical chance a man has of being raped by a woman (based upon CDC data (which even it refused to acknowledge men as victims at the hands of women, opting to catagorize female on male rape as "forced to penetrate" and labelling it as a sexual assault), etc. etc.

Those are the issues and why we see these problems in our society, not this idea that all of our or most of our differences come from socialization (we even see these differences in our nearest relatives, chimpanzees as well as other simians).
