What if woman hits a man, how should he respond?

In this situation the man hasn’t done anything physically to warrant a physical attack. My question is specifically addressing what should a man do if a woman attacks him. Whether its a slap or a punch doesn’t matter. Filter out any what if situations. She sees him she goes up to him and slaps him, what should be done?

The biggest thing is not to respond with more force then is necessary to stop her from being a threat. So you can restrain her and use self defense.

The next thing is you call the police and file a report. Let he scratch you or something so that it shows physical evidence that she did in fact attack you because she could try and lie to say you’re the primary aggressor. Don’t allow yourself to loose control and beat her beyond what’s self defense because you could be the one arrested.

Be ready to sue for defamation if she comes out attaching you and defaming you. Especially you can use the arrest records.

In that case? Nothing physical unless she's threatening to strike you again. She has committed a crime. You can call the police to report an assault. Or just laugh it off.

Same thing as if it was a guy hitting a women. Defend your self if needed, leave, take photos, decide if you want to take action. Like calling the police, Hr, whatever.

If he responds at all in USA he’s most likely to be imprisoned and lose almost everything. So leave immediately and never return or weigh the consequences and act proportionately
