Women hitting men, should a man hit back?

Basically I do not hit anyone, male or female always stay calm but this random woman came to and slapped he so hard in the face everyone went silent, I backed off and told her to stop, she tried to kick etc, I still kept backing off but thinkibg about it now, next time I get confronted with such a woman I will drop her. Advice?

Knocking anyone out if they slapped you is retaliation, not self-defense. In addition, if that person gets injured as a result, you can face charges and it would be very hard to prove to the court that you were hit first.
I suppose the response shouldn't be base on the gender but on the individual, if you really think your life is at stake, what force they use, do they have a weapon, etc. Would you knock out a short 5''2 dude that only slapped you but you can beat up? I suppose a bear hug and some restraining technique would work on those case.

If it's someone strong (man or woman) and fit that can screw you up and is currently harming you badly then by all means do knock them out. If anyone is comng at you with a knife and trying to kill you then obviously knock them out in that case too. It's a case by case situation.

There's a difference in retaliation and defense. If a man needs to defend himself (as in the woman is attacking him with a knife or he is disabled), then that is defense. A woman smacking him with her hand can be restrained otherwise or he can walk away (hopefully calling the cops). If the cops do not take him seriously because of the assault, I would go to that cop's supervisor.

Men should have the same rights to call in assault on women that we do. I just feel that a lot men think that it looks unflattering or weak. It's not.

So obviously, call the cops. Your life isn't in danger. If you lay her out, the cops will likely arrest you.

I did call the cops on her but it's not that simple, I have to wait 3-4 weeks for a response from the police and even worse she is saying that I hit her even though I have over 15 witnesses. This is all some bullshit.

That tends to happen. Hitting her back will exacerbate the issue and I'm sure there were cameras. Also, your response abut the cops is suspect. Get hold of a witness: simple.

I would have knocked her out, and here is why.

We have a problem in society today. Women know they can hit a man without fear of retaliation simply because they are women. We MUST change that expectation. It will be better for everyone involved because women will know they cannot automatically expect to get away with violence against men, so men will not get assaulted by women and women will not get knocked out for hitting a man. And the only way to accomplish that is for we men to start knocking women out when they assault us.

Guys, we know what we need to do. We owe it to ourselves and society.

It's actually not feminism in reality, because in reality feminism NEVER does anything that is perceived as helping men but not helping women, and this certainly falls into that category. It's unfortunate but you're best bet is to not hit them back unless they're literally trying to kill you. The law will almost always side with women on issues like this due to sexism. You're best bet is if they hit you once, then simply walk or run away if you have to.
