My friend says she rejected a guy saying she has a boyfriend and it’s definitely more attractive guys at work than me. So I don’t know what to think why me and does she actually have a boyfriend or even likes me at all I don’t know. It’s like why would I think I’m an exception if the last guy got rejected what makes me think I’m different I think I’ll just casually talk to her. Just keep it friendly because I don’t want to be another sucker to fall for the bait.

Has she shown any interest in you or are you projecting your own interest onto her and seeing what isn't there?

Honestly, I'd probably say move on if she hasn't shown interest as she very well might have a boyfriend or just not want to date at the moment.

You can always try no matter what. When I’d ask a girl out and she said she had a boyfriend I would ask do you want me to ask him if it was OK if we went out, and several times they would say no pick me up on Thursday lol. Life is a competition don’t be afraid to compete
