9 moWhat actually makes women the weaker sex is that for the most part most men are biologically and genetically born with a more muscle mass, testosterones which is a hormone that's for the most part thrive at higher quantities is a hormone that stimulates muscle protein and that creates a difference in muscle growth.

9 moI don’t think fainting or any physical reaction makes women the weaker sex. Strength isn’t just about physical stuff—it’s mental, emotional, and all-around resilience. Using fainting as a reason to call women weaker is pretty unfair and outdated.

9 moThere are facts in life that you need to accept.
Men are generally biologically stronger than women and are meant for physical feats more so than them. There's nothing about hate when it comes to it.
Women typically have smaller hearts, lower blood pressure, and different responses to postural changes in comparison to men. These differences tend to lower orthostatic tolerance, making women more susceptible to fainting when standing up or under emotional stress.
Fluctuations in female sex hormones, particularly during the menstrual cycle, can affect cardiovascular reflexes and blood flow regulation. Some evidence suggests fainting episodes in women can cluster around the time of menstruation.
Women often have lower levels of creatine kinase (an enzyme linked to muscle energy), which impacts blood vessels construction and sodium retention. Also, iron deficiency, which is more common in young women, has been associated with increased fainting risk.
Women may also experience more blood pooling in the legs when upright, leading to a drop in blood pressure and syncope.
Women also tend to report more symptoms of presyncope (early warning of fainting) and are more sensitive to orthostatic and emotional triggers. Psychological factors, including greater sensitivity to emotional and pain stimuli might also contribute.
Then there's other factors as to why men are stronger than women physically.
Men have more muscle mass. On average, 38-40% of men's body weight is skeletal muscle, compared to 30% in women.
Men tend to have much higher proportion of lean muscle in the upper body. Men tend to have about 60-80% muscle in the upper body while women tend to have about 40-60%.
Men tend to have larger and denser bones. Our muscle tendons have greater cross-sectional are and stiffness, which are more resistant to injury and allows us to transmit muscle force more effectively. We have denser, more robust connective tissues, while estrogen increases ligament laxity and flexibility in women (that's one thing women have more than men naturally... flexibility). Women naturally have a higher percentage of body fat compared to men (and no it's not just because of their boobs. The distribution of body fat throughout their entire body is more than men on average). And men have larger hearts and lungs, which improve oxygen transport and muscular endurance for power output.
We are fundamentally different. And there's no reason to compete. Men are biologically stronger. Simple as that.07 Reply
Asker9 moWomen have a higher pain tolerance than men, for the most part, I did faint as a response to the overwhelming pain I was feeling and my knees were locked.
- 9 mo
Research has consistently shown that men have a higher pain threshold and pain tolerance than women in laboratory studies.
I'm unsure where you're getting your information from.
And I'm unsure why you're trying to compete with men so much. - 9 mo
Mental Toughness: Large-scale studies show no significant difference in overall mental toughness between adult men and women. Both are equally capable of dealing with pressure and challenges.
Wisdom and Emotional Strengths: Research finds women score higher on compassion and self-reflection, while men score higher on cognitive-related measures and emotional regulation. However, total composite scores for wisdom are very similar for both genders, with only minor differences in specific areas.
Emotion Regulation: Both can regulate emotion effectively, but may use different strategies. Some studies suggest men might use cognitive reappraisal more automatically and with less effort, while women tend to employ positive affect and self-reflection.
Memory and Cognitive Differences: Women generally excel in verbal memory, reading comprehension, and recall of emotional events. Men are typically stronger in visuospatial reasoning and certain executive tasks.
Social Traits: Women score higher on warmth, empathy, and sensitivity; men tend to be more assertive and confident in ability, but these are modest average trends, not determinations of "strength".
Asker9 moWhy would I want to compete with men? I love being a woman. Women are men’s biggest weakness. Try a period stimulator starting from the lowest to highest setting and get back to me. I know that men are stronger than women, I’ve experienced it many times where I realized that I stood no chance when I was wresting with a man and there was nothing I could do to overpower him. Most women don’t deny the fact that men are stronger and neither do I.
- 9 mo
Everyone has weaknesses all part of life
- 9 mo
@Asker You keep trying to prove that women are stronger than men in some way. That's literally the definition of trying to compete.
Asker9 moI’m not competing or proving, you just refuse to acknowledge
9 moIn terms of physical strength and muscle mass unfortunately most men just simply are way stronger than most women.
As much as I love the idea of a strong woman who can kick any man's ass like we see in fiction unfortunately that doesn't really happen in reality.
Also I've heard this from somewhere, don't quote me on that, but something along the lines of "the best female athlete of all time can't even beat the 400th best male athlete of all time." And another instance where "a group of 15 year old boys beat a team of professional hardened women."
It also explains why women are usually raped a lot more and in some areas are afraid to go out by themselves. Usually no one will rape someone they know could easily kick their ass.
In terms of fainting in specific though, I didn't even know that was tied to gender? Is it a side effect of periods or something? I think men would faint too though if they have some sort of disorder, like trouble breathing or something.
Asker9 moYes, even though it happens to both genders, it’s more common for women to faint
Anonymous(18-24)9 moI'm sorry, but this is such a stupid bulls**t question.
Yes, men are stronger. Yes, women are weaker. This isn't just indisputable, it's obvious. Any five year old child knows men are stronger, and women are weaker. Or they do, until they're spoonfed feminist lies.
Don't believe men are stronger? The next time you need a highway built, get an all-female crew to do it. Let's see how that goes.
If your house is on fire, who do you want rushing into the flames and smoke to save you? A woman will have trouble kicking the door in, and might collapse under the weight of her firefighting gear. Plus, she might faint. She will absolutely not be able to carry you out by herself.
Or, next time you want to rearrange your furniture, don't ask a man for help. Just move the couch yourself. You'll have no trouble doing that, because women are just as strong as men, right?
And of course there's athletic competition. The WNBA is a laughingstock because the best female players in the world could get beat by a state champion caliber team of high school boys. That's due to the immense physical advantages that men have over women.
Women have been known as the weaker sex for all of human history because they are, in fact, the weaker sex. That's not sexism, that's reality.
00 ReplyFainting is something that happens to both both men and women, and I think can be avoidable for minor problems.
This happens to Buckingham Palace guards while on duty, because they stand still for long periods, especially on hot days.
The reason for a fainting can be a lack of blood to the brain, like when lying down, and then suddenly jumping up.
I was told fainting is common when not having a breakfast, and I always have a breakfast.
Also if you feel you are going to faint, I would suggest deep breathing and try and sit down, until the feeling passes, and therefore preventing a full fainting episode.
I've just looked on Google and there is some very good advice for fainting.
And if you're regularly fainting I would seek medical advice.
20 ReplyI suppose fainting is a pretty inconvenient thing. Not something I ever heard used for this argument. My understanding is that women faint more commonly due to iron deficiencies and alike. Makes sense you're more sensitive to that.
If anything makes women the weaker sex then it is being physically weaker. Men having 25% or so more body mass in general as well as denser muscle and less fat kind of just makes that a thing.
Being physically strong is less and less important in our day and age. Women are currently crushing men in terms of education. There's more to it than gender but still, that's an actual win. The pregnancy claim rarely holds once looked at. Women dueing pregnancy basically get men's normal pain tolerance. Still incredibly strong for going through it, but not a gender advantage of any sort.10 Reply
9 moI have answered a similar question before and I don't think any differently today. Fainting is a natural thing and can happen to anyone. Yes, it's mostly women in this case, but men can have it happen to them too.
I feel that men are stronger in some sense while women are weaker in that same sense. However, the same can be said opposite for women being stronger in another sense whilst men would be weaker.
I noticed how you put an update about going through pregnancy and child birth. This is something that men cannot do physically because we are incapable of producing a newborn. Though, similar to this, having a kidney stone is more painful than child birth. (I've had several women who've had to go through both tell me this). In which case, I feel like both sex is not at their best while passing a kidney stone.00 Reply- 529 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.

m 9 moThey don’t and some use the term „the fairer sex“ or „the more beautiful sex“, for what it’s worth. That woman are physically weaker on average is hardly news. In driving school I was paired with a petite 39 kg girl, her hand strength was so weak that she couldn’t pull the manual seat adjustment.

Ultimately she did, but she did give that driving instructor lots of grief. It was like supervising a child.

Both Saoirse and that driving school girl are petite 1,45m dolls, so these numbers do match.

The weaker sex plays into men should be protective so I don't think you should complain that much.
Asker9 mo« Husbands or boyfriends often find themselves comforting their girl but is seldom the reverse » that is more societal norms and pressures not women. Men are taught from a very young age to be strong and that « men/boys don’t cry » while women are encouraged to show emotions which later impact how they may show up in relationships.
Asker9 mo« Playing dead in response to sexual advances is fairly dangerous « when was fainting playing dead to sexual advances dangerous? Could you please elaborate on what you mean by that?
Anonymous(25-29)9 moi don't think ALL women are weaker than all men. I think it also has to do with the fact that more men work out than women. And for the women who do workout, its usually never ever the weights.
If women did weights, they would be surrpised at how strong they can get
10 Reply
9 moI have seen a man faint, and he was not weaker than me. That would be a dumb argument to make.
Parts of your biology that effect your sex characteristics also effect your muscle development and emotional regulation. Is that what you're talking about? If so, it's a strange thing to get so worked up about. We all have different hormone balances, but we can still be respectful instead of judging based on sex.

9 mo"Fainting" back in the day was more of an act than actually passing out. Not that people can't faint from fear or shock or trauma. But it was also a social device for "ladies" to demonstrate their "delicate nature" so that male imbeciles could feel "manly".

9 moA girl I dated as a teenager told me this: "The stronger sex is really the weaker sex because of the stronger sex's weakness for the weaker sex."
20 Reply 1.2K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. I've never heard any man use fainting as a reason why women are the weaker sex so no idea where you got that from.
Women are the weaker sex because they are biologically/physically weaker. I know a lot of women don't like that fact but it is a undeniable fact proven time and time and time again.

9 moI have never heard fainting correlating to women being, “the weaker sex”. Not even when I did medicine. Where the heck did you hear this? Finally, the only time I have ever known a woman to faint (not pass out) was via some actress playing a part on stage or film. Talk about rare…. I did see a guy once faint seeing a shitload of red stuff pouring out of his family member who was in an accident once. That was it.

9 mothat's nonsense. most people don't just randomly faint. and if they did, that would make them weak. "we can’t help it" would pretty much be the definition of weak. just cause it's not your fault doesn't mean it's not weak. but that's not why men see women as the weaker sex anyway. men see women as the weaker sex cause they're way weaker just purely physically.

9 moWhat makes women the weaker sex?
Strength and size. Men are bigger and aggressive and powerful.
Women are more chaotic and emotion driven.
Getting pregnant makes them more vulnerable too.
Asker9 moYet statistically more men commit crimes against others because they couldn't control their emotions.
Asker9 moThat’s why they have their spouse to protect and take care of them during that vulnerable stage.
- 9 mo
Yep. That is weaker.
Being more vulnerable and needing protection is weaker.
Women are 100% dependent on men.
100%.
Men have built all of the damns, bridges, roads tunnels, the water system, electrical grid, sewer system, are in the mine, oil rigs harvesting all of the energy, growing and producing all of the food, they enforce all of the law, defense and security. All of the war and absolute force to secure borders safety and law is men. All of the medicine and science breakthrough is men.
Men give you rights. They elected to write you laws and grant you protections of law. If you say your rights are broken you have to seeek the law and the power of male force to ensure it. You can in your air conditioned office at a computer in an advanced modern society built and maintained by strong men and say I am psychologically strong... emotionally strong.
Let a natural didaster wipe it all out or an invading army roll through... then boast how strong you are.
Men will have to fight for peace and security and rebuild the civilized world.
They have made it so comfortable and secure you think your strength is the same?
Delusion.
Asker9 moOk, let me get this straight, you impregnate a woman, which brings her to a state of vulnerability, yet you call her weak after making her that way? She is making a human from scratch. Women need protection from men not men’s protection. We are not 100% dependent on men, you wish that was the case then you would have more control over us. A large proportion of men choose those careers, which women could also but very few do. Women need protection from men yet the men are in law and enforcement, sounds like a recipe for corruption. There have been women who have discovered scientific breakthroughs but haven’t received any credit. Men took our rights, we fought for them, it wasn’t yours to take away in the first place. Your acting like you did us a favor with that one 🙄😂😂 I come from a corrupt third world country, my ability to survive is as strong as any man’s. I survived an earthquake at Six years old. Men start all wars so it’s incredibly hypocritical to say they will have to fight for peace and security to rebuild the civilized world. Men made the world insecure and uncivilized, you created the turmoil of war. You never made anything comfortable for us, you just kept us in a place where we couldn’t voice our opinions. Men would love to go back to the times where women had to obey their husbands and stay quiet. That’s why you hate feminists, but don’t worry, the 4b movement will make the male loneliness epidemic even lonelier and then we’ll see who needs who. Women choose not to be with men but men are constantly seeking a relationship. You guys try to convince yourself that your sex is more dominant because of all of the stupid reasons you listed but at the end of the day you wouldn’t have existed without the nurture of a woman’s body to bring you into this world.
- 9 mo
Yes.
Women are sex that carries the young.
Too bad so many western women are too busy competing with men and thinking trying to get a job is their pirpose in life. That reproducing is slavery and oppression. That is why the birth rate in the west is at such dire levels.
That is why women biologically exist. If none of them are going to have kids then we all might as well be men.
You fought for rights? Men gave you rights.
Women nagged men until men agreed to give you rights by force. The law. Courts, police will ENFORCE the right.
Women of their own power cannot overpower men and take a right. Unless men agree to the right and enforce it there is nothing women can do about except talk, protest, make noise. The law is backed by the power of men, police military. Until that protection is given thre is nothing you can do.
Quit trying to compete with men. You aren't men. Without a soft, rich, modern society, maintained by men then your grocery stores, and air conditioned offices, and water faucets and light switches do not work.
Women are not men. Quit competing and act like your men.
We build and maintain everything. We do not need you. Your jobs are meaningless. Appreciate the cushy, soft society men built for you to do your cushy jobs and blather abiut all the right you gained for yourselves.
Women are important because they make NEW PEOPLE. That is your superpower. That is what makes you special. Women can be mothers and kids. That is their main, unique role to society. Quit hating your true purpose. Men are builders and society builders. Quit thinking you are like men and calling motherhood oppression.
Women compliment men. They are not men. Their jobs are not any big deal.
Maybe nurses, teaching, childcare.
Men can do most of the rest. Giving up on kids or aborting them is not what society needs. It doesn't need your office jobs. Having families is the greatest calling. Not office jobs and promiscuity.
Rights?
- 9 mo
Men gave you those. If men took away your rights tomorrow there is nothing you could do. Because you require men with guns and power to enforce it. If they chose to enforce you not having the right you do not have the power to overthrow men and seize rights. Only men can do that.
The pill, sexual revolution, abandoning motherhood and families has already destroyed society. The birthrate implosion is just a few decades away.
You believe office jobs working in some man's company and promiscuity is your reason to exist.
You think you are men.
Perverse.
Asker9 moNo woman wants to be a man, your stuck in your men are alphas and women are betas mindset. Your just extremely sexist and made no good points. Your just spewing hate. You wouldn’t be here without a WOMAN. I hope you heal because mindsets like yours are very harmful. I women have made equal contributions to society as men have, people just refuse to acknowledge it when we do. We’re everywhere and we are beneficial in everything we do. There’s women who are nurses in the military who save lives, stop putting down women and instead appreciate their contributions to society. 🙄🙄

9 moFainting I would think that was a medical condition not related to weakness. Also men don't attract to toughness aka masculinity men attract to daintiness. All those female actresses on TV movies etc for example acting like tough guys if they only knew how big a turn off that is to men maybe they don't care either way but it is in fact a turn off to most men anyway.
