Are women really the weaker sex compared to men?

Or Is it the other way round? People have always said that women are defenceless and are the "Less capable" ones to conflict real damage and harm. Is it all true or false? Or do you think we are all equal?

Society dictates that women are physically weaker than men. And that they are more emotional and aren't mentally as intuitive as a man. Well, I have a couple of compelling points against that argument.

First, on the physical front, women and men have the same number of muscle fibers, which means they have the same make up as a man muscular wise, the difference is women make Estrogen and men make testosterone. Which makes men develop muscles faster, and strong. If a woman took testosterone and/or and estrogen inhibitor, then she would be just as big and just as strong. Case in point, female body builders! So that debunks that myth.

Emotionally, women can care more. They have a wash board of emotions. They usually can handle it better, and more efficiently then men can. A lot of it has to do with society dictating how a man should handle his emotions. But women tend to be more... healthy in that regard. When you need emotional help. Seek it. It's not weak.

Mentally, I would say both are on a same playing field! Women have room to expand and grow just like men do. Some of the smartest women help in Astro-science and mathematics which is academic smarts. Some have run office and campaigns which is instinctive and savvy smarts. And some just want to be handed thing and be taken care of, which is dumb. But whatever it is both sex have those people in them.

We're all still the same though. There's still some stuff that women can do that men can't, and some stuff men can do that women can't. Though we wouldn't be able to live without each other in this world. Women need men, and men need women. There's no way the world would go on if either of them dominated one or the other. Together we are strong though 😊

No sure about that video, as I've seen women some women with my own eyes beat average Joe men. That's the science of Testosterone, men make it consistently, women don't. Therefore, women need to take supplements to boost, or estrogen blockers to inhibit. It's not rocket science to figure out how physiology works.

Lol, smdh, testosterone isn't a steroid, the body makes it naturally. Women can take supplements to help boost the uptake and break down of testosterone so it can be as fast as a man. Since a woman's body produces more estrogen then testosterone..

Anytime you have a question like this, you have to make a generalization, which means you're going to be able to find at least a few individuals who are exceptions - men who are weak and women who are strong.

But on average, men are physically stronger than women, and men are better able to control their emotions (we still EXPERIENCE the emotions, but we keep them under control - because crying during a battle or while hunting dangerous game is likely to get you dead). This is why men's and women's professional sports are separate, why the military has higher physical standards for men, and why men make up the vast, vast majority of highly physical jobs such as construction, mining, oil field work, and why combat soldiers until recently have exclusively been men, and are still the overwhelming majority.

Of course women have different strengths, and women are no less important (even the military brings women on combat missions because in places like Afghanistan, you need women to interact with other women, even though it's dangerous, etc.). But if we are talking about physical strength, then, on average, it's clear that men are stronger by a sizable margin.

Of course. Women give birth, and that certainly takes a lot of strength and toughness. And women tend to be better at communication and empathy, which, for example, could be valuable in negotiations, but also in health care (there's a reason for the huge increase in female doctors over the last 60 years) or other care-giving roles.

Yes of course giving birth is hard and painful. But I can't really fully know, since I haven't experienced the pain of giving birth yet. I've only known that it's painful and yes it looks painful too. But all of which you said is true, men can't express as much empathy and feelings and much as women do...

If anyone thinks that women are as strong as men, they're watching too many movies.
Just like there's nothing most men can do to be able to breastfeed, there's nothing most women can do to be as strong as the average man.
This doesn't mean women are inferior, any more than men are inferior for not being able to breastfeed. It's simply a matter of sexual dimorphism. Men and women evolved with different roles and functions, and their physical abilities evolved accordingly.

I will never understand why men and women always try to prove something to the other sex. All i here is :

Are men smarter than women?
Are women weaker?
Who should pay on a date?
Men should be this?

It just goes on in one big vicious cycle. Aliens that visit us would be so confused. Honestly even if women were weaker (which i never believe), i still can't do without them. They have been awesome mothers, nuclear scientists, mathematicians, caregivers, girlfriends, wives, friends with benefits... WHY DO WE ALWAYS TRY AND COMPETE.

Whether a girl is weaker or stronger than me, i will still respect her. To answer your question, women were always there to comfort me, stood up for me when other guys bullied, my older sisters taught me so much, the girls that i depended on and so much more.
