If your last lie became real, how screwed would you be?

My last lie was telling my friend "it's all good, I was glad to help"... that just came back to bite me in the butt. They just called asking for help again... makes me realize little white lies really can come back on us... I really don't mind helping, but I'm going to have to make it clear no one wants to help a person that just wants help so they don't have to do it themselves.

One of my close friend of mine feels the same way you do. He's been telling me lately how people keep approaching him for help over and over again and they just don't want to learn anything. They simply expect you to do things for them and never help others in return. I could relate to that as it has happened to me too... more than few times. You get fed up and drained after a while.

I don't exactly recall my last lie... I've rarely ever lied in my life, and when I have (white lies), it was only to avoid a sticky situation. If that lie became true, it would definitely create a very uncomfortable or irritating situation for me.

I told a friend ‘don’t worry, I’m fine’ when I was actually damn exhausted.. 😅

If that lie became real, I’d basically never need sleep… 😐

Not at all I don't know if you could even call it a lie but I did feel deceptive. I told my parents that was out doing a quick little errand.
I was actually out at another doctor appointment
Doctor appointments cost money and I'd been to 2 other appointments that week and stay out late, but this one I was trying to finish quickly
I wanted to go back home anyway.
