it used to be some posted what they had for breakfast now some don't seem to be posting anything at all , maybe the odd instagram story but no actual pictures and rarely a new video to there tiktok or such

although its not all girls doing this but seems to be a growing % of them that are posting way less and been doing so for a little while now , whatever reasons they seem uninterested in actually posting anything

A lot of girls are posting less because social media has changed. People get tired of being judged, compared, or sexualized over every little thing they share. Some just want more privacy now. Others are focusing on real life, mental health, careers, or relationships instead of constantly updating strangers online.

It’s not that girls are uninterested many of them are just more selective about what they share and who they share it with. After years of oversharing online, a lot of women realized they don’t owe the internet every detail of their lives. Some still post, but others prefer to enjoy moments instead of documenting them.

Social media trends shift, and right now a lot of people not just girls are choosing peace, privacy, and real world connection over constant posting.

i suppose there is some truth to what your saying , i know here a lot of girls got bored during covid like 2020-21 ish and posted a lot more online then but now not so much and some only have private accounts so can't even view what they posted anymore

I've never done much social media to begin with. I use 1 Discord room (For a writing project. Nothing really social there) and recently found this site which I've been having fun with since I pretty much have all winter off and love to run my mouth. 🤣

BUT back in my college years (About 5 years ago) I was a tik tok girl for awhile. I was young, foolish and alcohol may have been involved. That account has been deleted for over 3 years. Any other girls I knew from that circle back then also either deleted their accounts or just don't update them anymore.

It's like, for us, back then it was just a trend for awhile and we moved on with our lives. Social media just isn't the big deal it was. 🤷‍♀️

i've noticed that girls seem to post more when there younger then not so much once they graduate and have jobs. but even still there seems to be a lot less content out there like in my city of 20,000 on instagram its like all private accounts , there is barely anything to view here unless you have access to those accounts and they only add there close friends and have small follower numbers so its like becoming pointless really if there isn't even anything to view , like i could think of 100's of girls here who have private accounts and a bunch more with barely active pages, some have open pages with zero posts like why?

also so many private accounts not just on instagram but even tik tok , like what would be the point in having a private account on tik tok? i though they wanted as many people as possible to see there video's

same as instagram , perhaps some people really need a private account but you can block the crazy ex so is it really necessary after thats been done to still be private? like way too many private accounts for no real reason to be that secretive
