How should I handle my drunk girlfriend?

I really like my girlfriend, who's pretty and has a good personality--except when she drinks. After a few, she gets loud and argumentative. We were once asked to leave a comedy club because of her heckling. She's also gotten into fights with other girls when drunk.

Once she got her blouse torn, another time she got her whole skirt ripped off, leaving her ass exposed except for a thong. There were people outside the club with their phones out, and it's a miracle that no one posted it--as far as I know. And she's like a terrier that doesn't know its size. She will get in these confrontations with big butches a foot taller than her, black girls, it doesn't matter.

I've tried to talk about her alcohol problem, but she insists she can stop anytime she wants. Plus, "You knew I liked to drink when you met me." I am really worried about this girl. I'm afraid that sooner or later, she will get her teeth knocked out or get taken away in handcuffs. How can I get her to quit boozing?

Put a little something in her drinks that make it taste awful.
From what I've seen over the decades, the way people are when they're drunk is how they really are inside. The booze lets the real them step out and it's often NOT a pretty picture!!
Try shooting video of her when she's at her worst and show it to her when she's sober.
About the only other option is to tell her that if she doesn't stop, you're breaking up with her!! My sister did that. She was dating a Scotsman that drank all the time and she didn't like it so, she told him to either stop drinking or she's gone. He said, I can't stop drinking! So, she left!! It's not that she didn't like him drinking, she drank a little, too but he would just get shitfaced every single day!!

You can't get her to quit boozing. You can set boundaries of what you'll tolerate. If I were you, I would be ending the relationship. Staying with her is a road to misery.

Talk to your girlfriend about her behaviour. Perhaps she needs professional help to rein in her actions.
