While it could be social anxiety acting up, it is also entirely possible that you are getting much more attention than you used to.

From memory my sisters went through a similar phase.

Chin up and try to view it positively. You can't teach people not to look before ever meeting them even if it might be justified, so for your own sake the best option is to interpret it as a compliment.

Do ask some people around you for a second opinion if you feel you are being eyeballed a little too much.
