By this time, I think most women probably know that men are turned off by tattoos. Why do women do it anyway?

Personally, I find tattoos to be trashy and low-rent, and I can't imagine why a woman would ruin her body with these things, yet many of them seem to do this. I am wondering why.

'Cuz most women don't do it for men. They do it for themselves. However my next oldest sister has a tattoo she regrets but not 'cuz of dating or anything. She got a lady bug on her ankle and it looks really real and all summer long people say to her, "Hey! There's a ladybug on your ankle!"

I'm a guy with tattoos, and I imagine women get them for the same reason men do: because they want to, and/or because it's meaningful to them.

When I get a tattoo, I don't give a damn what anybody else thinks about it, because I'm doing it for me, not them. I wouldn't expect a different answer from a woman.

I also find tattoos on women can be attractive. Not always, depending on the tattoo, but some women look very good with them. You may find them trashy, and that's your prerogative, but not all men would share that opinion.

I cannot make head or tails out of it either. There was a girl I worked with that had a dragonfly tattoo on her neck. One day I asked he why she got it. She said her boyfriend had one just like it so she got it. Soon after he broke up with her.

There isa tattoo removal clinic near where I go on vacation. The parking lot is usually pretty crowded.

Tattoo removal is very dicey, and it often leaves a lot of scarring. It hurts like hell and it's super expensive. Other than that, who worries?

I went to a tattoo convention and I have to say otherwise. Let’s just say theyre not yiur people. xD

besides that… people have scars from surgery or self harm or just scars in general and covering them up with with tatts makes them feel more comfortable in their own skin. I’m following some amazing artists and there is some very beautiful feminine work that exists and I find it lovely.

I don’t think men truly think women in general find their tattooed bodies attractive either, yet here we are.

Behind every single tattoo is a story, some after a few beers finished and others dared, but that’s not the point. Some hold sentimental value or shows like also journeys taken.

I stand against tattoos on my body, I respect others’ choice to get one.
