I was told by a close friend and spiritual advisor that "guys are just guys" or "guys are very stupid, you have NO idea." I felt that he was trying to exonerate all manner of bad behavior with that one mentality. Others will say "guys can be rough around the edges."

But tbh... some guys are just a compilation of rough edges... better stay away from them. And I don't believe for a moment "all guys are stupid" sort of phrases. It's selective stupidity at best.

And then yes... a woman who makes the same mistake is "unforgivable" for no reason. "Oh, you were drinking" is no excuse for a woman. Actually, the drinking itself is frowned upon.

I could answer it. But then you would say I'm excusing SA and rape, which i am most certainly NOT doing. But a lot of women today not only do not protect themselves by using good judgment. But many will casually put themselves in precarious situations. Now a woman that does this i do not care about. But I do care about the EFFECT it has on rape cases. Because each time one of these women yell rape and then the case gets dismissed it makes it that much harder to convinct one of these dirt bags.
