How often do women give their number purely for friendship?

I have no idea how often other women do give their number but I don't. Nobody outside my immediate family as well as the school administration has my cell phone number. I have no landline number and thus, my number is out there for solely 5 people and organizations.

I see no point in giving out my phone number given the fact that I so seldom use it. I have perhaps 2 incoming calls per month and I have 1 outgoing call per day when I call my parents to check on them.

This policy of being selective prevents from others to start calling at all times of the day and night.

A woman if approached out in public would more likely give u her number if you asked lets be friends. No pressure, light and it goes from there.
