I am personally disgusted by nail polish, especially when it's what people would call "put together" or "clean". For this reason, it has always been surprising to me that so many women wear nail polish. It also seems like more women are wearing it than ever in the past.
I have a few theories:
1. Some women like the look (I've seen many women with an obsession with "toe beans" on animals, so nail polish kind of resembles them when your nails are highly contrasted with your hands);
2. It is used by women to present themselves as "clean" which can sometimes (but not necessarily always) be them overcompensating for otherwise being seen as dirty.
3. Many women are in competition with each other so the women that would otherwise not wear nail polish are now wearing it as a result of peer-pressure. Perhaps older women also pressure younger women too.
4. There are men who like it.
If you wear nail polish, why do you do it (feel free to elaborate in your answer)? And where on Earth are the women who refuse to wear nail polish?
1. In my question description, I am simply conveying information in a concise manner with the relevant details; if you find that offensive, then you are too soft.
2. Look at the responses to my question: people are telling me to "grow up" , calling me "pathetic" or simply laughing at my question rather than giving me an answer to my question. So who is the one starting the attack? Not me. Call that person out.

More women wear fake, plastic nails or get acrylics and gels and stuff than have their nails natural and painted. That's even worse looking to me, gluing plastic on your fingers and call them nails. They're plastic! lol I don't find nail polish disgusting like you do.
I also hate acrylics and other fake attachments, especially the sounds they make, but for different reasons to the nail polish disgust.
And what's your opinion on natural nails, their length, and the sounds that they make?
Natural nails (without paint) are fine because women are drawing no attention to them. I never thought of nails to be attractive, but they also don't need to disgust me. If it looks like the woman has chosen to grow them to look "feminine" that can be off-putting because a disproportionate amount of attention has gone into their nails, which I think is wasted effort - I always hear of women talking about the amount of effort they put into looking nice but they don't even look nice to me, yet they expect men to then give them more when they haven't even optimized for something of value to the men.
As for the sounds, I don't like it when women tap their acrylics on surfaces, it just makes me want to remove my eardrums. It's also as if they think that that is enough to arouse men as if men are some dogs starved of attention to the point where women can put in that little effort as their contribution. I also hate ASMR for those reasons - ridiculous in my opinion.
You're entitled to your likes and dislikes, though it sounds to me that you have some subjective issues about women, their appearance and their motives. The things you consider to be wasted efforts are all related to YOUR preferences, not theirs. Many women like their nails longer and some of them say they grow so quickly it's not an effort at all to grow them, but rather, to manage them.
Anyway, my point is you're probably going to spend your life looking for a totally submissive woman who will cater to your whims and preferences. I would wish you luck, but then I wouldn't wish this scenario on a woman. There's a lot of hate in your words.
I am very aware that these are MY preferences. Why on Earth would a woman that is getting into a relationship with a man not be trying to look good FOR THAT MAN? Is she attracted to herself? Why would that man join up with a woman that is not going to benefit himself overall? She's obviously ideally meant to be attractive to him and vice versa. It's like you think people are just meant to role play acting like they're getting along with life without any rational reason behind their actions.
If you want to call these issues "subjective" then how about you sit down and think as opposed to just listening to the group narrative. I am not interested in becoming a slave to a woman like you might be. A lot of weak men nowadays have caused women to gain power and they are abusing that power in many ways. Keep turning a blind eye if you want.

I believe you'd be describing that thing you dislike in such a way that would express your perception of that. I am doing the same. Otherwise the information I am trying to convey will not be conveyed. I have no interest in sugarcoating.
I said, you're entitled to your preferences. You're entitled to list the things you don't want in a woman as well. If, for some reason, a woman were to find there are enough other things about you to mold their hands, nails, feet, hair, overall dress or whatever else you require to your LIKING so they "look good for YOU (that man)", great. Oddly, you wouldn't consider that woman being a slave to YOUR likes, would you? No, you'd just say she loves you and is willing to please you, which should be her priority of course. Hold on - slaves serve their master's needs and wants for very little in return. If a man marries a woman, he is typically expected to provide and potentially go to war and potentially die for that woman. What does she do in exchange? If I want sex, then I would like my wife to be sexually attractive to me. Where else is my list of demands so excessive that a woman will be suffering at my hand? If she wasn't even attractive to me (one of the FEW things I want) then I would be effectively enslaved - I would be better off without her. You have assumed that because I am complaining about nail polish (which seems small) then my list of demands must be large, but it's not.
You are using the word slave incorrectly - relationships are basically an exchange of things of value between two people, whether those exchanged things be actions or goods. In exchange for me providing for my partner, I want her to be attractive to me. No one needs to be a slave in this situation.
You mention the "hate" thing. If I hate things and I say I hate them, then my speech is truthful. If I hate things and I deceive you into thinking I don't then my speech is not truthful. Do you not hate things? If you say you don't hate it, then you are lying, and you therefore do not have the moral high ground. If you also fail to say when you hate something where the consequence require that you say it, then you are also at fault. I am not going to follow your rule of sugarcoating.
Nail length is not even that important to me, nail polish is. You're the one that brought acrylics into this. If my partner wanted to please me and I asked her to simply not wear nail polish, then she would remove it. If she refused that simple task then I have reason to believe she will refuse more important things in the future and I can therefore leave with a clear conscience if I deem it necessary. This does not mean I won't pursue women with nail polish, but I'm not going to let my resentment build up because the truth is that I dislike it to the point of disgust. You think you're in the right for pressing me to bottle up my disgust.

Why do you think I asked my original question? I need to understand why women wear nail polish. I have given a reason for my distaste for it, and I am looking for a reason for them wanting to wear it. Then I can make a rational decision on whether or not I will request her to stop wearing it and whatever other necessary decisions I need to make.
Explain to me how my approach is problematic.
I love it when women wear nail polish, although some of their color choices in recent years may leave something to be desired. But, sure, why not?

Having said that, let me also say that I find blue and green polish utterly hideous, but we're in an era in which ugly is the new pretty, in my opinion. The more unappealing it is, the more demand it receives.
