Why do American girls love bad men so much?

Serious question, and I know it's been asked before but not culturally. Why do our American girls have such an attraction to bad boys/bad men so much? I've heard men from some other countries say their women are the same, but those have mostly been European men. I have rarely met a foreign woman who seriously likes bad men - most of them openly say how disgusting it is and they themselves even wonder why American women are so into that.

So why is it such a thing with American females to be into shitty guys or want to change them? They try to say it's about confidence, but we know - and they know - that a guy can be a strong, confident man without being an asshole or a delinquent.

Don't know. The reasons probably vary. I was just thinking about how awesome boring averageness is. Not even anything about genders, I'm just getting hooked on normal peaceful consumption. And i think i just improved my mental health after finally getting physical treatment for some tormenting bullshit i had. So i can conclude that mentally healthy people want peace. On another thought, america is the world capital of porn, maybe whatever pattern you noticed has something to do with sexual hedonism being more rampant there than in other places, and hedonism makes us chase echos of whatever our ancestors planted into our thrill-danger-survival-painkilling-risktaking receptors and neurotransmitters whatever, if we evolved from rapists then the world's most powerful orgasms would probably be caused by rape. That's just elementary logic. It probably surges the highest amount of mind-numbing cope chemicals in our bodies and it is possible that whoever you are complaining about just chases sexual thrills like a hobby and like with any gooner, normal stimulation got too mild. ㅤ

Women like masculine strong men. Often women especially young women see the bad boy type as strong and masculine. For a lot of women danger and drama excites them. As well as self destructive behaviour some women have. Its like why do so many women end up in relationships with abusive men one after the other.

Like years and years ago when I was working as a bouncer in a London club, there was this guy slapping the hell out of a woman. My pal on the door with me tried to stop me because he knew. I tried to pull him away and he hit me and i dropped him, then the woman his wife attacked me. They then called the police and the head bouncer in the club across the road straight across the road without being asked called the police in to look at their CCTV footage and the couple got arrested for being drunk & disorderly and assault on me. Apparently they were always fighting in the street. She the wife got off on winding her husband up and starting a bar fighting were she would flirt with a guy or make out with him. Her husband would see this and get angry and attack that guy. Thats just one example, it really opened my eyes.

Lmfao. That is so common. I knew a guy years ago who got killed at a club for trying to defend a woman getting beat up by her man.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a woman wanting a strong, masculine man. That's normal. A woman should want that. But lusting for men who are clearly not good is a whole other story that they try to ignore or make excuses for.

If you ever watch movies and tv shows directed at women its all relationships with drama in it. Many women crave drama like a drug. And have a narcissistic view to be seem as a victim

We're not into shitty guys. We like men who are exciting and raw and animalistic, because that's what sex is. It's based on animal attraction. Mostly, we want better, masculine looks, great bodies, and if we're honst and have the experience, the biggest things we can get. There is a reason so many girls talk about what some Blacks have in their pants. It doesn't makre those men "bad" in a really bad way. They give us what we want, a lot of times that we can't get from our boyfriends and husbands. It's not that American women are genetically different; we can be more open and aggressive about it, or if not, willing to cheat. We understand the most attractive, hung guys are going to run around. And we also have Black culture to thank for it, as there are way more men of that appeal and sex is often so important to them and their culture.

With that said, they usually don't treat her very good. They can be loving together and then arguing about something and it's like that most of the time. I wouldn't consider them to be happy though. Not in a normal sense.

She might think that she can change him or tame him to treat her better, but we all know that the only person we can change is ourselves.

I grew up in a big city and there were bad boys in my high school and surprisingly 2 of them got married while they were still in high school. Their wives seemed to be just average girls. One couple had a huge white wedding.

when they are young, they are told to be nice and soft and quiet and small and do the polite thing, so when they get a taste of the thrill of what the bad boys do it's a rush. So, it's the rush. They love that feeling of the bad boy because it signifies defiance.

It's called fascination for dark triad traits in psychology and it's not only limited to America. It's pretty common for people who grew up in very protected and secure environment.

The only other women outside of America (technically) who I know of to seriously like assholes are Latinas. But the vast majority of ones I've met from Africa, Middle East, and Asia do not like those kinds of guys and are vocal about it.

Men won't get with those women after they've given up the best years of their lives, pair bonding is gone, and being emotionally drained because they had way too much sex with men that really never cared about them. I don't blame men for walking away and wanting to make themselves better.
