Why do some men only like bad girls?

Anonymous

I work with the guy in a bar and I get on really well with him. I've always had a massive crush on him and I thought he liked me back. He's always flirting with me and giving me little cute nicknames.

He's a little older than me by 6 years and is very protective of me. Whenever we finish work he makes sure I get home safe and calls out rude customer's on my behalf. He always referring to me as his "girl" and finding ways to touch me.

I've been to shy to tell him how I feel for months but we recently went out for work drinks together with a group of friends. We were all a little tipsy at the end of the night and me and him were eating maccies whilst waiting for a taxi. I got cold so he gave me his jacket and put his arm around me to keep me warm he kept stealing my food from me. I really thought he was trying it on with me so I went in for a kiss and he pushed me back off him.

I apologised and explained but I thought he wanted me to and I must have misread the situation. The taxi ride was very awkward to say the least but I got home and cried my eyes out.

I debating coming into work the next day and just calling in sick but my mum forced me to go. As soon as I clocked in he came to talk to. I was really embarrassed and just tried to rush away from him. Eventually he caught up with me and he said he was sorry if he gave off the wrong message and just sees me as a little sister and that I'm too sweet and innocent for him and isn't really into good girls.

I just thought he was stupid and will get himself hurt if he doesn't like good girls but if he likes being treated like crap good luck to him
