I've always wondered whether some women actually get a sense of satisfaction or validation from knowing that a man is emotionally invested in them, even when they have no intention of reciprocating those feelings.

Is it about attention, ego, the thrill of being wanted, or simply not realizing how deeply their actions affect someone?

I'm not saying all women do this, and I know men can behave this way too. I'm genuinely curious to hear different perspectives, especially from women.

Have you ever seen someone deliberately lead another person on just because they enjoyed the attention?

Some definitely do, because this is only kind of control they have. They aren't really smart, they aren't good in their job, they have no hobbies, they don't even try any kind of self improvement to but men have a weakness for them.
