Do men give other men the same pep talk about women?

I’ve always heard different elder women giving advice about men and saying almost the same things;
Find one your willing to put up with
They all cheat
They lie
You gotta stay on top of the money
Don’t have no young girl just hanging around your man
Feed him
No matter how good you think he is, don’t put nothing past him


Growing up hearing this from every adult female really made me question why women choose to be in these marriages and relationships.

This question deals with the perception of what men are vs. What women are. The PERCEPTION is that women are looking for just one man. And that men are trying to get as many women as possible. Problem is neither of these perceptions are true. But based on the societal roles of both genders there is a nugget of truth in both of them. Women are societally expected to birth the next generation. The best way for her to do this is to seek out a mate that will stick around and help raise the offspring. While men are societally expected to seek money, power and influence. And the number of women's attention a man commands is related to his power and influence.

So to answer your question, as a whole, no. A man is not going to give another man a "pep talk" when it comes to women. Because he'd only be creating competition for himself.

Of course everything I just said is a generalization. So this does not make it applicable to every guy. And if this were completely true guys would not get married. And half the guys do.

Those women are bitter women who probably slept around with the wrong men. If someone says all men or all women they’re just sexist. They wonder why being like that nobody decent with any ounce of self respect want anything to do with them….

Yes, there are men who say this stuff all women are Whores. All women cheat. Women are evil. Women will screw you over…. Just like some women say that about men. It’s not all men just like it’s not all women. There are people on the other extreme who tell people to lock down marriage immediately even if it’s the wrong person.

For me, no. Any advice I got from older men basically boil down to three things. Don't be afraid to go for it, have fun while your body and life lets you and then a plethora of how to treat a woman well and little things that they did to make their someone feel special.

This bitter version I suppose I am in the wrong crowds for.
