Do men ever deliberately give women the wrong advice about other men?

Like if a girl asks a guy friend for dating advice who fancies her, (regarding other guys); he’ll sabotage her chances, in the hopes that she’ll end up with him?

It depends on the dude some people are jealous people and other women who are jealous will also do this. Another thing is that it’s not always so nefarious though it can be some people are genuinely trying to help …. But are projecting what they are wanting on to all other men which may just not be the case.

I wouldn’t want to sabotage someone who I consider a friend but not everyone has empathy and likes seeing others succeed. Even if I am interested in someone if I truly care about the perosn I would not try to sabotage them not to mention some people are testing the waters. Yes, some may not be interested in someone like they but wanting advice because they trust someone. But other times someone may have genuine interest in someone and are wanting to see what they want as well as how they want to be approached.

So when they start acting catty and weird they may be sabotaging their own chances with someone as well. At the end of the day for both sexes if you like someone just say so.

Well I think if a guy was giving you advice then that mean you let him in... and he would be a friend I would think. So as a friend I would think he would give you good advice.

And if a guy That you let in and did what your asking in your question. He wouldn't be a friend for very long

my best friends could say a few not the best words of men I was meeting... but they were just protective of me :D

sometimes... people are jealous and say many different things :D

but I would rather believe my gut feeling and my observations than the words of other people... if I'm going to make a mistake, I want it to be MY MISTAKE :D

If she knows he’s a friend “who happens to like her” the response thing is to either give him a chance or cut him off

Some men deliberately give the wrong advice to everyone. You can read bogus advice from men 24/7. The sad part is other dumbass men actually believe what they read. I hate to say it, but most are the blue anons on here.
