Would girls find a finance guy boring and undesirable?

No. Finance is one tough job sector (I know because I studied business, accounting and economics in college) so I have a huge respect for people in the field. Plus, I dated an accountant once, and not only was he intelligent, but he was funny too. So, it doesn't matte what field you're in, if you have a good personality and tall (LOL) you're good. But parents sometimes tend to care about the employment of their children's partners. But finance is a good career, so you're in no trouble in the parental approval department. :)

Granted some personalities tend towards certain career paths, but finance seems like it'd have a broader spectrum of persona types than compared to say an artist, when you have to be rather eccentric to fit in.
